So anyone who has young children how do you manage to focus on work? I try my best and even more so these past few weeks to get stuck in but with having a 4 year old and a 1 year old I find it’s so hard to do. Unless I do it when they are asleep which then has a knock on effect. Would love to hear some work day schedules for you love people from the money shed. Thanks

I have three who are 10, 7 and 5. I’ve been working in the morning 6-9 for a few hours. We do school work until lunchtime and then it’s free play until tea time. I’ll either do some more whilst they are busy playing in the pm or husband does dinner and I may do some more after dinner whilst he plays some sort of game with them all. It does help that they’re a little older than yours but screen time is probably through the roof right now but needs must! Having a one year old is tough as you can’t leave them alone for a second!

Playing catch up on chores at the weekend seems likely.

Yes she is quite a busy body so I do let her do her own thing with her sister but she is wants my laptop every time I’m on it lol. I think getting up early is a must then to be productive. I like how you have your day makes sense and you can still have a mix of both work and family life. Thanks for that.

Is the only work that you do quite detailed or is it “in and out” type work like surveys?

Well at the moment it’s adult chat which is definitely hard to do while kids are running round.
Appen work which is timed but it’s as long as I can get so many hours done a week I’m good.
I do find the survey some do things easy and can do them.
Neevo work I’m struggled with as need to focus.
I’m just a bit all over the place as and when. Don’t help myself though lol

I struggle be honest - Ive got a two year old. I try and do some work in the afternoon - when he normally takes a bit of a nap then its late night working for me when he goes to bed. He's an early riser as well so I cant really do any work in the morning.

I have a partner but he's working long days and doesn't see online work as work even through I can make a decent amount of money on Appen. At the moment appen is only intense at the weekends when they release the new work. But I struggle when I am trying to do projects in the week. Normally I concentrate on surveys and free spins in the week.

Makes me laugh when you hear all these amazing jobs you can do at home MLM stay at home with your kids. I keep my normal job as I do 2 days a week and it’s my time off from the kids lol. I’m glad I’m not alone but I think it’s going to be late nights to make it work thank you

I can't function late at night hence why I start at 6am. I actually love eating my breakfast alone and the peace and quiet it entails. I keep reminding myself it's only temporary and that I can fall back into a more workable routine when school returns. Whenever that may be. Actually feeling I have more time as we aren't running here there and everywhere to swimming or karate.

I think it's just going to be a juggling act and there is no other way to do it. I know creative @Ar_ has the exact same issue trying to combine getting on with her work and having her child at home / home schooling - the whole thing is just a nightmare and because you are trying to balance bringing in money alongside looking after the kids and there is no middle ground so it end up with you doing either one or the other!
