Iver found a really nice shop of downloadable designs licenced for commercial/pod use - digitalcurio... lots of patterns, prints and objects all downloadable - prices seem to start about 2 quid per download. She is on facebook and does freebies every now and then.
Well done with merch @peechy - what did you put on your app?

Thanks for the site info.

I put down that I have designed different tems and would love to see my designs on clothing and other products. That I was starting out etc.
I also went into why I wanted to be on Amazon.

I'm not sure if you will try again but if you do hopefully third times the charm.

@peechy, did you mention about selling on other POD platforms? Or mention a brand name in your application?

I don't think I mentioned other POD platforms.
I did put a brand name but will change as I read you can change after.

I didn't link any websites or social media accounts etc.

Oh dear...... Redbubble account is suspended!!! Been a couple of days.

I uploaded a few designs and account was accesible for a couple weeks. The other day I uploaded another design, some stickers to be percise, then all of a sudden I'm loged out, I go to log back in and it says my account is suspended.

I looked at the help centre thingy but it says that if your account is suspended you should still be able to login but your items wont be available in the "shop"... I can't even log in

I haven't had an email about suspension.

I submitted a ticket, emailed them even dm'd on twitter as I reasd they answer there... I even tweeted @ them..... Nothing

I haven't uploaded anything that violates their terms

humph!! after all that.

@peechy, lots of YouTube videos on RB account suspensions. Nobody seems to know the score, have you tried diversifying to other POD platforms?

I'm looking at other ones now. Have you any recomendations?

Some of them are a little confusing. Some pricey but I am actually still excited about all this.

I am wondering if it will be a good idea to join the many people who put a POD store onto Etsy and Ebay?

Etsy charges 20p listing fee for 4 months (apart from 40 free listings via referral).
It may be worth looking at: Zazzle, Spreadshirt, Society6, and more.
Not tried these yet, but also worth checking out POD YouTube vids - Greg Gottfried, Shimmy Morris, etc

With ebay you need to ensure item location is specified as your pod supplier.. Someone on one of pod Facebook groups had his account suspended as eBay somehow found out the item was being shipped by Inkthreadable in Lancashire while his address is nowhere near.. They are trying to weed out the dodgy dropshippers. When I was thinking about doing POD on ebay I went on online chat to clarify that it was OK to have the items sent from a different address to mine and they said it was OK. If youre considering ebay I would get it clarified on live chat first and save the copy of the chat just in case

I signed up with zazzle over the weeked, thay look quite good.

I have also been watching vids and reading blogs. There really is so much info - can be overwhelming lol.

I was wondering if anyone had recomendations based on their personal experience.

I am going to look at ordering some samples soon. Don't want to spend too much money though.

Ahhhh I see. Thanks for this. I'll deffo clarify if I choose to have an ebay POD store.

I wonder how they found out? maybe the customer wasn't happy with location being different and told them?

Just read about a site called Envatp Elements which works out about 7.50 a monthand you get access to loads of images. Haven't fully looked into but I assume this allows for commercial use.

thanks for site info. There should be licence info to see what's alowed with the images. Each site may be slightly different like some say you can upload images as is, most I've seen say you have to modify the image.
I have seen some specific info for uploading to POD sites.

I have been biten by the tshirt bug - I was watching a show and all I could do was look at the guys tshirts and think about designs lol.

have you tried out the t shirt templates on Inkthreadable? Gives you a really good insight about your design and you can download the image from the preview.
Inkthreadable have a good variety of t shirts , it would be beneficial to check the size guide on each brand as some are quite a bit of a smaller fit. Also, they have a brand called Gildan... they heavy cotton t-shirt is the cheapest but it is an AWFUL texture, I bought a plain heavy cotton gildan from a POD supplier near where I live.. i now use it to dry the dog when we come in from the rain...

oh gosh!! haaaa sorry but drying your dog with it made me laugh.
Thanks for the heads up!! I was wondering about the quality of the shirts and that brand had some good reviews.
I am in the FB group you recommened so will have a look on there and I am going to look at an inkthreadable account tomoz. Does it have a referral system at all? If so do you have a link you'd like me to use?

No theres no referral. That link on my last post was to one of the other brands. Their design template is quite nifty. Gildan do otter shirts which are stocked by Inkthreadable.and they are probably OK (I've got a Gildan hoodie which is great quality) . Its just that Gildan heavy cotton... Awful.. I would expect customer returns with that

I really like Affinity. Not quite as function all as Adobe but great value and less glitchy.
