Got my first jab getting the 2nd Tuesday myself. Things will definitely ease into normality, just will take a bit of time despite new variants poppin(India etc).

I give my moderna experience an 8 out of 10 lol

I give my AZ experience 10 out of 10 :D

Whoever arranged this was a genius. He/she arranged for the sun to shine and the temperature to be just right. We all shuffled along while observing our 2m or 6' distancing, staring at our phones. Then into the hallowed "Jabbing Hall" where we continued to shuffle trance like into a cubicle. Once ensconced in the "Jabbing Cubicle" we were grabbed at the top of the arm and "JABBED". No pain was felt at all and we were released to freedom and shopping in supermarkets. We now await our second jab with anticipation and wonder.
Peace and jabbing be with you all ;)

Just read something on the BBC website which implies the bump was caused by people rushing back to the UK before India went on the red list, and it's actually no more transmissible. Same Covid, different bucket, if you like.

I'll keep looking forward to teaching face to face next month, and getting back on a stage in July.

If you are in England you can now cancel your 2nd jab on the national booking website and select one at 8 weeks out instead of 12

at what point will case numbers not matter? They’re not included in the original four tests the government laid out for the progress of the roadmap but people see the increase and start worrying even though we have vaccines now!

The fourth one talks about the rise in new variants of concern so that could cover it.

Good news about the vaccines working on the variants today.

On a side note, we're also off to our first sporting event today!
