Sorry my comp froze! I literally had a conversation with someone about this (not the alien part) the other day! He was saying he doesn't like the volatile cryptocurrency market because its raising the cost of GPUs...
I think it will recover. I've made small investments in Litecoin and Bitcoin and although it went down dramatically, it's gone right back up today. The whole risk of cryptocurrency investments is that they're volatile and it seems as though we just have to ride the wave!
Omg thanks! I wrote my first blog post on my experience today (feel free to have a read if you have time! https://www.marvellousmoney.co.uk/blog/start-to-invest)
It's great to hear someone else's experience on the app! I'm planning to give it a year, and see how my money does. I'll look into...
Thanks! I literally just downloaded the coinbase app a couple of days ago and made some minor investments into Bitcoin and Litecoin. Not necessarily looking to get a large amount of coins just yet - just the principles of investing and watching it rise and fall is key to me perhaps taking a...
Just for feedback as I've mentioned elsewhere I am interested in investing in cryptocurrencies - is blockchain the best site to go to if you want to open a wallet and make a purchase? Is it relatively straight forward?

Still upsetting to think how 'unskint' you'd be though
I do have savings separate I'm just not ready yet to take the plunge and invest it all lol! I think I just want to ease myself in, so investing pennies here and there will hopefully inspire me to do bigger things!
At the moment I'm looking at crypto-currency investments but thats probably...
I don't know any other sites or platforms to invest in/with with no charges. I've looked at nutmeg but the minimum startup investment was £500 - not sure I'm ready to dive in deep just yet with that much. Do you know ones with a bank which will let you open with £5?
So it's an app on your phone that rounds up things you spend to the nearest penny and builds a small investment fund. E.g. if you spend £1.20 on a sandwich (unlikely but an example!) It takes the extra 80p and puts it in a fund.
Theres also easier options like just having a direct debit set up...
