Sometimes if a payment is pending for a length of time PayPal, refund it back to the sender. I had this with a purchase from BHS, where PayPal took the order but BHS didn't confirm it. It sat in pending for about a week and then it was just refunded back. It's worth contacting PayPal about it...

I have a similar problem. Most of the tasks on FA require too much travel, and Roamler ones tend to go quite quickly. Going on maternity soon though so hoping I can get a few in then (because I won't be busy enough!)

I am a member of Marketforce but don't do many of the shops. I find that the amount they reimburse is normally less than the cost of what they're asking you to purchase, and whilst I still appreciate a cheaper dinner etc., it means I'm only inclined to go somewhere if I was intending on going...

I found the tester question quite challenging, even though I'd consider myself to be a decent researcher. Not sure if it's just the subject matter or not getting into the right frame of mind when working through it.

I bought from a private seller on what was an existing listing, the discount was added by Ebay, my Paypal receipt confirmed I'd "paid" the seller the full price of the item.

Finally a code that's worked out for me timing wise. Put an offer in for an item the other day which was declined, but because the original Buy It Now price was 20% more than my offer, I've managed to get it at my offer price and the seller is also happy :D
