Yes, I also 'qualified' for the Half-Marathon study, but opted not to complete it as I'm definitely not training for any half-marathons! Researchers need to think about letting folk automatically qualify for their studies, in connection with offering a financial incentive!

I have had the text through now, after a couple of hours - guess it's something they are sending manually. I agree that 3p per text is not much reward for parting with your mobile number!

Has anyone else done the slightly odd survey about over the counter medications today, which asks you to sign up to do an SMS task? It's not immediately clear from the instructions at the start of the survey, but it says at the end that if you don't sign up for the SMS task, you don't get paid...

Did anyone do the study about the newspaper article today? (about the company donating to charity). I just completed it, but it didn't ask for my Prolific ID and I got taken to an error page at the end, so who knows if payment will arrive!

I've just let them time out in the past and it hasn't affected my score - I didn't even know there was something you could do to return them!

Finally got paid for Wind Turbine too :D Hard to tell whether it was done automatically or not, as it seems to have happened just at the end of the 21st day.
