I will also say and is what I've said from the beginning. Niche research and keyword research are one of the most important things.
Yes your book needs to look good but if you use the wrong keyword or your market is saturated, you won't sell much.

Since I started in summer 2020, I have now made £44000 turnover. This isn't all profit as I also use ads and have other expenses.
The last time I uploaded a book was September 2022.
I estimate I now spend around 100 hours or less a year working on my kdp and I should achieve around £15000 a...
Yeah, I tend to. Sometimes I'll do more but some months I only just do 1000.
Depends what else is happening that month as I also have a full time job that can often get busy and then I don't want to do much in the evenings.
I tend to do a few hours to hit my minimum content.
There's not much chance of being thrown off, just make sure minimum content is done. You'd have to majorly mess up on a classification of something to be thrown off that way.

I find I make more when there's no surges. When a surge happens, loads of people log on and I get hardly any content. When I have constant content, I tend to make more.
I don't tend to do the shifts as I get too bored doing an hour of content but can understand why it'd be annoying to remove them.
They've literally just posted saying they're looking to hire new people and asking us to share the link to join the waiting list.
Now would be a very good time for people to apply.

Have you got notifications on?
I've seen loads of surges recently.
Crispthinking is definitely good if you are flexible with your time. It definitely can be slow but when it's busy I can earn £15 an hour minimum, sometimes more.
I'm doing personalised animal family prints of animals which I do as digital downloads.
I've sold around 10 so far (at the moment, it's one every couple days). I have around 15 different sets of animals animals with baby and adult of each set available. E.g. adult penguin and baby penguin and...
