    DaDaABC work from home opportunity

    I'm not stupid! It's fibre optic 100% with Plusnet and it's better than BT's standard offering which is 1MB upload. What are people paying per month to get higher uploads than this? There's no problem with downloads which are in excess of 30MB.

    DaDaABC work from home opportunity

    I read about this in a recent money shed email, but overall I was hugely disappointed. There sign up process was awful - they tried to Skype me at 7am one morning, without prior warning and then I didn't instantly reply, they got shirty - asking if I still wanted the job. Anyway, then they...

    I don't know why that would have happened to you- they've always paid me in Amazon UK vouchers. I've only ever received vouchers, not cash from this company. They know how to process international payments, so I would definitely take that up with them.

    Never Spend a £2 Coin Again

    Whilst I agree that I don't understand why people feel the need to save money in jars....funding circle is risky as far as investing goes. Your money is not protected in the same way it is in a bank, under the FSCS. All investments are risky, but I would suggest that most people saving change in...

    Usually longer than they originally say! I've occasionally had to chase, but it's because they normally make dollar payments to US participants. Getting international payments authorised takes a bit longer. They've pretty much always kept me informed via email. Not done any studies since they...

    Matched Betting Discussion [OT] Discussion about Matched Betting II {Beginners Guide in 1st Post}

    Sorry been MIA for a while- mostly been redecorating the house! Just wanted to say PA is working out really well for me- I've done the beginner offers, 3/4 of the advanced offers and quite a few reloads now. Anyway, I've made over £1250 in the 3 months I've been signed up. Impressive by any...

    Frugal Food-al

    I picked up a bread maker for free on Freecycle, plus they are ALWAYS in charity shops for £8-£15. I wouldn't bother buying new. Mine was originally a John Lewis special and would've cost a fortune. Most people seem to buy them, use them for a while and then put them in the cupboard- before...

    Thank you, that's much clearer now. So I'd be better wagering a larger amount on each of my spins then? I took it down to 15p thinking I only had t spin 20x. It's all a learning process!

    Matched Betting Discussion [OT] Discussion about Matched Betting II {Beginners Guide in 1st Post}

    I'm really confused as this is my 1st offer- I'm up by over £20 and I've spun more than 20x but there's still no option to withdraw. When I contacted Stan James, they said: "The remaining wagering required to activate to cash is £346.75p." Which makes me wonder, is this offer even worth it...

    Matched Betting Discussion [OT] Discussion about Matched Betting II {Beginners Guide in 1st Post}

    I'm getting a little bit frustrated with matched betting, I want to move through these beginner offers quickly, but I just don't have the large sums of cash to keep tying up in Betfair/ Smarkets. I guess this gets easier when you've got some offers behind you aka. cash in the bank. But with £20...

    Matched Betting Discussion [OT] Discussion about Matched Betting II {Beginners Guide in 1st Post}

    Yes it was. I'm not so keen on betting on horses, but I wanted it to pay out quickly. All the football matches I'd have had to wait until the weekend. Sky were advertising a best odds guarantee this morning. BTW- is it a good idea to bet on the same match, but using different bookmakers? I'd...

    Matched Betting Discussion [OT] Discussion about Matched Betting II {Beginners Guide in 1st Post}

    I'm unsure what's happened myself, now I look at my Sky account- the odds I believe I originally placed at 2.25 are crossed out and then changed to 2.38 in green. I don't know what that means either! Smarkets doesn't show the odds which is unhelpful. Well, either way I've not lost out.

    Thank you, that's very clear. I had calculated a loss of £1.80 using the calculator on PA. I can't now remember the odds as I've closed that page.

    It was my qualifying bet, not my free bet. Can you just break it down for me, so I know how to work it out in the future. Maths is not my strong point, but I will learn it. Thanks

    Also, I'm still working my way through the beginner sign up offers on PA. But of course all the bookies are already sending me reload offers. I know PA says to work through the beginner offers first, but one from William Hill has caught my eye tonight. They're offering me a £15 free bet if I bet...

    Matched Betting Discussion [OT] Discussion about Matched Betting II {Beginners Guide in 1st Post}

    Can anyone advise me if I'm working out my profit correctly? I've just done my sign up offer with Skybet and bet £50 on a horse. It actually won and so now I have £118.75 in my Sky account. I lost £68.82 on Smarkets, so does that mean my profit is £49.93? When I filled out the calculator form...

    I've had so much work from this company lately, prior to that I hd only done 1 paid study. Sad thing is, I only have about a year left before I think I will be too old for their studies. I often find they pay more than they say, it's probably just that exchange rates have gone in my favour...
