budget

Hey it's been a while but I'm still around - even if I'm not logged in...oops! Unfortunately we had a holiday booked for the summer holidays to Cornwall for a week however due to financial reasons we've had to cancel. We've lost our deposit but there was just no way we could raise enough funds...

My experience says the best way to reach a goal is to set one. Be it paying off a house or a retirement age (or a holiday kitty). Create a budget for the bigger picture and define what success is... Then aim for it. Any stories of your own goals (time bound, target amounts, savings levels etc?)
