Re: £5 for 50 posts

It's one of the problems of forums and trying to grow their community.

If you get lots of new relevant users posting for £5 - Brilliant

If you get a load of people spamming the hell out of the forum posting just to get £5 - Bad.

From some of the other forums I frequent, this forum has a fantastic post rate for the number of members. Some forums have thousands more members but don't have the frequency of good quality posts this has. That's something to be commended.

Luckily though the competition states "quality posts" and Jon moderates this before dishing up the cash, spammy posts are getting jumped on my the community...well Queen and I ;)

If I use your link it takes me to the signup/login page which is what it should do

This is a fantastic incentive for us lurkers! I love the idea of the achievements too and will be sure to check those out in more detail.... As I wrote this a Gmail popup came up informing me that I've earned a new badge - I like badges, I'm vain like that 8)

What are the rules about quality of posts? x

They need to be good, involved and relevant :)

I will have 40 to go after this post but will try my best haha. A good incentive though.

No

"Yes, I agree"
"I do this too"
"Can I have an invite?"

Re: £5 for 50 posts

I write fan fiction mainly in a Terry Pratchett and Discworld "voice" - some of it gets good reviews.

Read it here if it interests you. (3)

Re: £5 for 50 posts

What have I said above regarding quality of posts

You can do all the one line posts you like but they won't count sadly

This isn't a race, it's about contributing to the site and getting paid for it

This is a fantastic incentive for us newbies too! TMS has already been useful to me (Roamler invite for starters!) but I guess I'm just a bit shy :-[
