Morning all!

You're a very helpful group so I'm hoping you might be able to think of something that I haven't :)

I'm in a position where I need to earn £500pm until September time. I've signed up to the usual Appen etc but as we know Appen is very hit and miss! I've applied to any suitable jobs though, but that means I can't do any more there until I get put onto a project. Matched betting has already been completed :ROFLMAO: I also check Lionbridge as used to do ad rating with them.

Is there anything that can start earning me money immediately? Happy to do several things rather than one thing as I know it's not sensible to have all my eggs in one basket! I have Amazon/Etsy on my list however I haven't got the time really to set those up as of course what I do may not sell.

I can't really think of anything but thought I'd put it on here just in case!

Thanks all :)

Hi, do you do mystery shopping? I always find there is a good £300 a month that can be made but obviously much much more if you have the time and want to do more and different jobs.

Depop is a good platform to use to sell items as is vinted for unwanted clothes

Thanks for replying! I've signed up on lots of mystery shopping sites but nothing seems to come up. I do have the time to do it a few days in the week while little one is at pre-school so it would work well for me if something came up!

I do Vinted and eBay already but only really doing £100pm at the moment - haven't tried Depop yet!

Like a lot of selling sites they work well if you keep adding items... depop is the same obviosuly :)

Where are you based? I do find there is quite a lot of shops where I am, that I don't have time to do and get calls each week to do shops, again that I either dont have time for or at the moment I am not that interested in.

Video shopping is still a big area and lots of companies looking for new shoppers, some companies helping with equipment at the moment.... they pay much more as well.

Yeah I'm adding items every day so hopefully that will help matters!

I'm on the South Coast so I would have thought there would be plenty out there. What sites are you registered on if you don't mind me asking? I might be missing an obvious one!!

I've now joined and says 3 available, but when I click on it, it just takes me to the list of filters so I can't actually see what's available..?

Finally got to view the available jobs although some are miles away strangely. But there are quite a few options, although most are unpaid restaurant jobs at the moment.

Is there anything else in your experience that could be a good earner now? Looks like mystery shopping will definitely help get me towards that £500!

You should also chat to @sianib who does online tutoring and earns a great amount each month from it!

@fajita - You can earn money tutoring without even leaving your house. You don't have to be a qualified teacher to work on Cambly or Outschool.

Cambly is a site for adults/kids to practise their English. Lesson materials are provided or you can discuss articles. Pay is not the best - $10-$12 an hour but it is consistent and paid weekly.

Outschool is a marketplace where you can teach anything, not just academic subjects. Here you can teach individuals or classes (you can make lots more teaching classes). Outschool take a 30% cut but the sky's the limit as to what you can earn. This is a platform only teaching students 3-18 and you would need to demonstrate experience.

My referral links are in the comments, please consider using them if you apply but you are also more than welcome to email me for more info. I could earn more than I am, but I am also teaching in a school 3 days a week and doing a full on course.

I would say that Gapbuster, Market Force, Grass Roots, TNS, Tern and React are all good ones to start with.

Thanks so much! Cambly sounds like it could be a good one for me!

Have you signed up to Redwigwam? They treat you as an employee but usually have a few jobs going. Obviously prolific and Y surveys are good but won't get you enough.
