Hi

Have anyone heard of 20 Cogs, I've just come across their site and wondering if it's worth joining ?

Yes they are, I would definitely recommend. I cashed out about £180 a few months ago. Just make sure you take screenshots of any offers as sometimes they don't track, but they're great at getting back to you and resolving any issues.

You have to complete 20 offers.

Some are ones you have to pay for, some aren't. The offers change from time to time.

Some of them might want you to spend £10 on bingo on William Hill with a new account for example. If you can't complete that offer, or the alternative, then you're just stuck waiting and waiting for another offer to load. Then you have to hope that you can do that.

Often the offers are worth more on cashback websites. Also, they will probably account for a lot of people not completing the offers, because they won't get to 20 cogs as either they'll lose interest or they'll have completed lots of others through TopCashBack or Quidco...

So yeah. I'm not a big fan of anything that you have to jump through that many hoops for. People do get paid but odds are you could make more just individually selecting the offers you do want to do.

Thanks Katy...so you PAY to do tasks? Seems the opposite of what we want...pass

Some are free e.g sign up to a newsletter. Then some want you to pay for a trial subscription to a website, that you have to remember to cancel.

They regularly don't track cash back properly either.

I think i am a bit silly as i don't understand this, like in mycreditmonitor offer, it requires you to stay 1 month for free trial. Just assume like i completed the offer today, so when should i cancel the subscription? I i cancel it a day before it expires, i will not eligible to receive cash from 20cog, but if i cancel it a day after it expires, my card will be charged subscription fee. So what day should i cancel the subscription?

[member=6201]MMom[/member] usually when you cancel offers the month will still run. personally I would cancel it before - are there any T&CS?

Thanks for your reply [member=920]katykicker[/member], in 20cogs T&CS said that users have to stay for full trial of 30/14 days... This is really confusing. Because i don't know when i request to stop the trial, will my membership will stay for full 14/30 days or it will be cancelled immediately which is no good because it means i won't get paid. But i don't cancel it before trial period expired, i will be charged. Confusing!

Personally I would cancel before and take the risk! I wouldn't want to be charged [member=6201]MMom[/member] - how annoying.

I thought the same. It's very annoying [member=920]katykicker[/member].
I also don't like the idea that their tracking system does not work very well s you should screen shot all you participate. What if you forget :)

[member=6201]MMom[/member] this is mostly why I haven't tried them out / recommended them myself.

I've found 20 cogs very frustrating to contact and really unhelpful. Even when I sent screen shots they said they hadnt heard anything from Euro millions so they weren't going to give me the money. Not great.

[member=4387]starkissedstargazer[/member]; I had a very bad experience with this site. I have to say i HATE it. I hate the way they work, why don't they automatically update what we took, why do we have to send screenshots for what they missed.... It said it will update cogs status within 48 hours, but they didn't. Then i sent them all screenshots of all offers i took. They deactivated my account as they said ''suspicious activity'' by sending too many screenshots. What ridiculous people they are, and they asked me to send my identity for them to be able to activate my account again. I told them what i thought, but i still sent my identity. I was really upset since in joined that sign, so even i sent them my identity to activate my account, even i had to pay £1 for Which, £3 for simply cook and £10 for a casino offer, £1 for lottery i decided to close my account as i don't to see that website (anything about it) ever again. I feel they are trying to take advantage of people who cannot be able to complete 20cogs. Maybe others have good feeling about them, but i can't. You need to be more careful when taking offers on that site.

Just completed 20cogs after several weeks - I'm glad to be at the end of it! Hope the money comes through or I'll be out of pocket.

Hello Everyone

Just want to share my experience with 20cogs.

I earned £156.38 which i have received it from them. Its very eassy and you need to finish all 20cogs to complete the offers.

Some of the offers they ask you to sign up and on some you need to pay £1 t get £10 etc. I always use entropay virtual credit card and use that information to finish the offers. its very lucrative. I hope that helps and everyone can earn money from this.

I would really appericiate if you can join under my referal link and finish all 20cogs.

I tried 20 cogs before and found its an escalting system where it starts easy but becomes a paid to earn system where you can't win. So I am sorry to say I will pass.

I too tried this. I worked out that this was likely to cost me money rather than make money right from the get-go. I never did any "offers", never went back and have no intention of doing so. Clever, but high maintenance (remembering to cancel all those useless subscriptions - if you can; some require postal notification of cancellation, read the very small print) and bordering on the scammy side.

Not a chance.
