I too tried this. I worked out that this was likely to cost me money rather than make money right from the get-go. I never did any "offers", never went back and have no intention of doing so. Clever, but high maintenance (remembering to cancel all those useless subscriptions - if you can; some require postal notification of cancellation, read the very small print) and bordering on the scammy side.

Not a chance.
I did this. Managed to remember to cancel all the daft subscriptions and filled in all of the cogs. However, a couple stayed grey, which on closer inspection, requires a screen shot of your registration with said daft subscriptions. They didn't tell you this during sign up. Apparently I've banked £130 but I can't cash out due to my lack of proof I subscribed. Not a good show.

Yeah, 20cogs doesn't have a good rep on here. If I remember rightly it's no good if you Matched Bet because a few of the cogs are bookie sign up offers which people have already done.

I think we've only had 2-3 people on here reach a payout with them.

I have 15 out of the 20 cogs so not doing too badly but these are my 2 questions...
1, Has anyone actually cashed out and got some money from the cogs?
2, I have managed to completely avoid all the betting site cogs so far but Ive been thinking about doing the matched betting thing. would this be a good way to get my free betting money? I have never put a bet on and know 'nowt about sport, betting or the like so feeling a wee tad nervous ya know!

Don't waste your bookie sign up on 20cogs

Use them properly when doing Matched Betting ;)

So with 5 pending cogs and 4 complete, I have a promising balance of £83.50, and now that I've spent some of my own money (approx £12) I'm starting to get nervous. I read some threads on here last night about making sure you record the dates for free trials, or subscriptions, and about getting and retaining evidence, but I wanted some up to date feedback... Please tell me some of you here have cashed out your 20 cogs balance and that I've not just chucked that money away?

The same company that runs 20 cogs also runs OhMyDosh which from my understand pays out fine. If you hit an issue let me know as I have contacts there..

I'm stuck with about 6 cogs left, because I signed up for all the cashback offers for casinos years ago, and also signed up for a lot via swagbucks last year, there's basically hardly anything I can do now! I emailed them and they said they couldn't help/switch out my offers until I only have 2 cogs left.

I do know quite a few people who've been paid by them though, so I don't doubt they'll pay if you complete it.

So I think I posted about this before, but for the life of me I cannot remember where... two days ago everything was going swimmingly; all of my cogs were either green or amber, and I was just running out the month waiting for them to click to green, so I could cash out. Then I check my account and two cogs have turned red, rejected, just two days before the final cog was due to turn green/confirm. I have sent two tickets about each of them, the first set were ignored, and the second I received copy and pasted responses about the company rejecting them... this is after I had sent evidence that I had done everything that was requested of me. The first offer was the audible one, and the second is LottoLand, the one that cons you into signing up for a subscription when signing up (I ended up losing over £20 on this cog).

Can anyone offer advice regarding this, as I don't believe it's a coincidence that just two days before I am due to cash out, two cogs that I have given supporting evidence for/done properly are rejected for no reason? :(

If you can Pm me all the details + your sign up details I have a contact at 20cogs so should be able to get them to look into it for you

Also, 20cogs falls into the SwagBucks category and i don't do anything on either that require me to spend any money or serious time to complete.

I made that mistake already, but won't again! What made me really cross was it was meant to be a 99p one time Lottery, and I only found out after signing up that it wasn't. I even called my bank to get them blocked from taking further payments, but that didn't help!

Another copy and pasted response, despite evidence to support my claim. This kind of thing is so disheartening and takes advantage of people without much money trying to make a living, however small.

What were the terms and conditions on this occasion?

For the audible one I had to take a 30 day free trial, and be a new customer to audible, which I was. The Lottoland one I had to do a 99p lottery and I did. Both I have sent proof of 4 times, and they just keep sending the same response. It seems they aren’t even considering there has been a mistake on the companies parts or that it should be investigated...

Could you get lottoland or audible to verify you have signed up / been a member etc and email 20cogs directly?

But 20 cogs aren’t going to do anything about it- they are just copy and pasting the same response... And because its an offer, how would I ask for that information directly from Lottoland when I had to block them with my blank and close my account?

ah right ok so you closed the lottoland account. Did the T&C mention anything regarding closing accounts? Like was there a period for how long the account had to stay open?

Not for those cogs. I was very careful to write the dates down for everything, from when to cancel free trials, to when my cogs should be confirmed. Which is why I am so angry, because I know that I did everything right. I have just written a review on Trust Pilot, and asked the person you emailed earlier to advise me of the complaints procedure, though I do not hold out much hope... All in all I am out by about £70 including the scammed Lottoland money.

how long does it take you to complete the full 20 cogs? And one thing i don't like is how most of the cogs are all subScription services. What are your experiences with 20cogs. I feel like I've done 50 offers.
