So this year, so far (today) I have signed up to market force and been surprised by how many jobs were available that I could get to. 40 mile round trip but I do it most weeks anyway. Found out a bit more about phone apps. Not sure if they are for me or not but have bought a new phone. Not my dream phone but at least the os isn't so old fashioned that you can't even get snapchat. I was seduced by the topcashback offer from giffgaff and cash back seduction is a danger zone for me. I also signed up to a couple of market research companies for focus groups. So no actual real profit. I need to reconnect with selling on eBay. I used to make quite a lot from that many moons ago but it was a different marketplace then. I stopped enjoying running my shops when the big companies got in on it. One more thing I did today was start posting on here.
2018? So far so good.
Happy 2018! I am on a serious mission this year to also make some money from home and if I could make £200 I'd be absolutely ecstatic! I do need to get better with whatusersdo, I probably do one survey every other month but it's a good way to make £5 here and there. I love Qmee personally and Quidco and together they easily give me about £20 a month which is a start. For focus groups I am with Focus 4 People and Focus Groups UK. Swagbucks has been a bit hit and miss for me and I used to love a site called Ciao but it recently stopped renumeration for reviews so steer clear. Keep us posted on how you get on!So this is 3.09am on 1/1/18. This year I am going try various ways to make money from home. I don't have any income at the moment. Literally none. I don't want to start with a sob story as I hope that this diary will be a positive place to come to that will help to spur me on.
So far I have signed up for surveys, what users do, qmee, swashbucks, some focus groups, top cashback and quidco. I am looking at match betting but i'm not quite ready yet. In theory I 'made' £200 in December but since it's all tied up in points etc lets not count our chickens until they are a bird in the hand.
I've spent the day reading up about uTest. I still wouldn't say I feel confident but I have a slightly better idea of what to do. This evening I have to get ready for tomorrows mystery shop. I spend a lot of my time learning as this is all new. I'm sure once I get properly started it will all feel a bit more profitable.
I'm sure I will. There doesn't seem to be many new jobs this week but even every now and then helps .Once you have done a few you will be much more relaxed. Many jobs that come round regularly with very little change, so some will be second nature to you very quickly. With some I take brief notes and check them when I am doing toilet checks or trying something on. I also use that time to make notes on my phone. Good luck with it.
