Well, so far today is one of those good days where everything flows smoothly. I love those days.

I seem to have made a bit of a mess of a mystery shop survey! It's for a different company and was really complex. I hate getting things wrong though

Ahh no! Can you salvage it to get paid? x
Yes, I can:) but honestly, they want a dissertation for just a few quid. I've done similar with a lot less hassle for more money I just can't get enough of them so was trying a new company.

Your teaching people a skill and earning from it?

Good work!

How did you wind up doing that then?

The teacher dropped out and one of the people who run the hall asked if I'd do it as they knew I can crochet. It's a straight £16 an hour and I don't have to deal with the public liability insurance or take the money.

I've been booked into a market research community. Not quite sure what I have to do yet but it's £90.

Got money back from Npower from when I switched so I've started matched betting along with my son.
Ballsed up my first bet, never placed a bet in my life, and lost £11:rolleyes:. Son also ballsed up his first bet and won £60:p.
I have now got the hang of it and I'm on my fifth bookieo_O. It's a bit addictive isn't it, not in a gambling sense, more in a shopping sense. I like internet shopping a bit too much and this might make a good substitute.Same sort of bargain hunting.
It's all a learning curve and if you are totally unfamiliar with betting things like not knowing how to deal with fractional odds, the answer is to look for a button somewhere, not try to work them all out in your head, can flummox you a bit. My problem was that 'betting' itself is so unfamiliar not that 'matched betting' is unfamiliar if that makes sense. I also got a partially matched bet but luckily someone eventually matched it and I didn't have to cancel and change odds.
So far I have mainly lost at the bookies so I already look like a bit of a mug! so I don't think any mug bets are needed. The only possible exception is Stan James which still has a free bet that is on this afternoon but I can consider it once I've got my money out, and see if it's a bookie I will use regularly.

Good to hear you're started.

Don't worry too much about making mistakes, we've ALL done it at the start, soon it will become second nature to you both!

Well, I have been computerless since Sunday. Admitted defeat and bought a new laptop yesterday. MB has been a bit disturbed but I will carry on as I definitely need some extra money now.
I have set February's target at £400 which is £100 up on January and £200 up on December. I don't think it's unrealistic.
I haven't made very much this week but I have a fair bit booked in for next week and hopefully, the matched betting will start to show a profit now that I'm back online properly.

Sunday accounts. So far in Feb I've made the grand total of £7.35. Hardly surprising. That doesn;t count matched betting as the money is all over the place with that. I'll add it in at the end of the month. The MB is going quite well apart from 1 mistake, several misjudgements, a bookies server going down in the middle of a bet, a broken computer and a partially matched shenanigan. All good learning. While I would recommend matched betting and while it is mathematically 100% risk free I think you do need to factor in your inner numpty and the technology gremlins. I am up but would be up more were it not for both of those.

Busy day. Another busy one tomorrow. Have managed to stupidly double book myself on Wednesday. I cannot Mystery shop all the pies and be at home waiting for Whatusersdo to Skype. Also got 3 MS calls to make tomorrow whilst waiting for Skype, and if you've read my previous post you'll know how much I love Skype, not.. At the moment I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that the world revolves around my wishes and that everything magically happens at different times. I also started the online focus group this morning which I am enjoying so far and crochet classes are going well. Also put up another blog post at the weekend and I have been busy matched betting. So I'm a busy girl. Also got 'real' job to fit in. Just an evening shift and a morning. Off babysitting Wed evening through to Friday. Daughters internet is dire so won't get a lot done and I take my hat off to anyone who works from home with young kids. I went out to work when my kids were small. I really don't think I could have hacked working from home.

I have just signed up to emotionminer using your signature - it's the first time I've heard of it. Is it good? Thanks, Laura
