Anybody with Virginmedia, Sky, BT etc then just get on the phone and haggle. I was on a BB, TV and landline package that was £59 with Virgin and going up to £64. I got on the phone and gave them a sob story that I can't afford it and was looking to leave. Even though there is no fast broadband alternative where I live they offered me to stay on the same price if I signed up to an 18 month contract. I turned that down and said that I hadn't had a BB speed upgrade for ages. They eventually agreed to double my speed from 100Mbps to 200Mbps and cut the price to £51 too. Always worth trying.

Petrol is getting scary again
Surges in global oil prices prompted by Russia's invasion of Ukraine are being felt at the petrol pump in the UK.
The average price of petrol jumped to £1.51 a litre on Sunday, the RAC said, while diesel rose to £1.55.
Russia is the second-biggest exporter of crude oil, and while only 6% of UK imports come from Russia, there are concerns sanctions could restrict supplies worldwide and drive up prices.

I have been with Tesco mobile for over 15 years or more. The great thing about Tesco mobile is that if you stay loyal they guarantee to never increase the price of your contract, and over the years I have managed to haggle to get my monthly payments reduced when it came to renewing my annual contract.
