It is starting to sound all a bit dodgy Lilly, be careful otherwise you might get stung! It's daft that you're correcting them and they're getting hacked off - where's the sense in that?

I have spoken to a solicitor before I started A Girl's Best Friend, nothing that I am doing is illegal.
I report to HMRC every 3 months with who is now working for AGBF even if they are self employed it is the law to do so.

Lilly is not getting it in the neck, I admit I did get very upset in the first instance, the reason was I had spent a lot of time doing this, I currently work 14 hours a day on AGBF with no income at the moment, that's why I got upset, as you will see from my story I have a thick skin as I have had to grow one rather quickly.

Lilly confirmed that it was other people that were getting at her and not yourself, I'm sorry if it came across that way. I have tried to be supportive and helpful towards Lilly in some private messages.

It sounds like you've had some seriously tough times - of which I can't imagine the pain of experiencing. I wish you every success, you sounds like one tough cookie - you deserve this to be successful and it looks like you're definitely putting in more than enough leg work to do so.

It really is a minefield trying to get proper information

Herbalife says

What is a pyramid scheme and how does it differ from a MLM? What makes Herbalife a legitimate MLM?
Simply put, an illegal pyramid scheme awards payments to participants for the simple act of signing up other participants. A legitimate multi-level marketing company, like Herbalife, pays compensation to participants based on the sale of product to satisfy demand by end-users.

However, like lily has said above your money is going towards a "kit" so is that regarded as a sign up payment?

I will be honestly I can't think of other direct sellng companies that pay cash for recruiting more people (which If I signed up to AGBF is what I would focus on doing)

Who gave you the advice before Vanessa, they are probably in a far more educated position than I am

The money that you pay is for a kit that you purchase, you have a cooling off period so that if you opt to change your mind you may do so, your entitled to a refund minus a small admin charge for setting up page. If someone decides to stop being a rep then that is fine, I can buy the kit back or they can keep it after all who wouldn't want loads of clothes and fashion products.
Yes you have to purchase a kit to start be it just the webpage or be it a full kit, you can not start for nothing.
You get paid a % of that kit, they all do it some-way or another they just word it differently I know that with the mlm I signed up with that my upline got a certain % of the kit I bought.
The premise is to sell the items not recruit, your selling products at the end of the day fashion products. If they want team members to earn from their sales then they can introduce them. If you joined then I would be asking you to sell products above anything else, the training focus's on selling the products.

I see this is progressing nicely. There is some good things in the shop now. :)
Nice to hear from Vanessa and how it all started.
Good to see a business that is genuine where someone is trying to make sure that it follows all the rules.

Thank you very much, I do see this site as good if only something was about like this years ago x

I have and I would not wish them upon my worst enemy, but it is finding the strength inside of you that you have to carry on & you either rise or fall and I choose to rise.
I think the other girls were just sticking up for me which is nice all the same.
And with anything you have to put in the work for anything to come good.

I am impressed at the way your Business has really progressed. Some of that stuff is really good value too. Usually MLM businesses charge far too much therefore making it extremely difficult for anyone to have a hope of getting sales.
Looking really good. :)

I see no reason to remove this thread, it has a lot of good information that people looking into this company would find useful.

I think with any site/business/whatever it's always good to get an outsiders view otherwise you can end up having a VERY linear vision.

SO MANY ideas for TMS have come from other members or people from outside of this demographic / sector who I have had do reviews on the site to see how others view it.

Criticism for no reason isn't always great, constructive criticism can be.

Which is why I always point out on one of your Facebook ads that your team members use it should be 'our' not 'are'

I agree with you Jon, didn't think that was possible lol, but am glad that I joined & I was able to get my point across.
This is a valuable thread, it not only shows that I am human but it also shows that I take things on board and change them where they are needed.
Keep up the good work.

Vanessa,

Have you done any more resarch about if you are allowed to offer cash as a reward for recruiting people

I found this being used by another franchise at the moment

At the bottom it states it is illegal to persuade people to sign up with the promise of cash for recruiting others.

I think the cash you get is your % of the other persons products they buy as part of the kit. Vanessa is in hospital but I'm sure she will answer when she has a chance.

A fashionista is someone who is into fashion. So yes it doesn't need the apostrophe
