Things have been progressing well as I'm working my way through PA's list but I've noticed that I've started getting a few offers when I log in or in my email from the bookies.

I have £5 from PP that has to be used on one of their picks slots - they all seem to be £1 or £2 stake so I'm not sure whether to bother with that yet and the other is from betfair. A free £5 acca with conditions that I have no idea what to do with as I've not got to the acca sedction yet!

If you guys got these when you first started, did you use them? Or do you just ignore them until you've found out how to make money from them?

Use anything that is free.

All slots have an option to change the stake - the PP ones should be able to go down to 20p.

If you don't want to go into the mechanics of accas yet then punt it (ideally on legs that are at different times). If the acca is still live with the last leg to play then lay £5 on your selection and you will make money.

I did virtually none of the casino/free spins offers whilst I was going through the sign up offers. I would suggest that if the wagering requirements from the PP offer is low, then I'd probably do it, but if there is 30 or 50 x wagering requirements then I wouldn't bother.

With the Acca, as long as it is free, I'd just punt it too- just pick 3 or 4 Premier League matches, whatever is the min requirement, and you might strike it lucky. You'll learn how to lay them off sequentially as you go through the PA offers.

Use your free spins is my advice they sometimes hit. You can usually have another tab open checking your wagering progression too.

Accas are quite easy once you get into them, follow the steps and take it slow.

I had a double using a betfair £5 free bet took Ajax and Man U to win. Ajax done the job tonight and now I need to lay off Man U, only problem is at time of bet Man U were 6.6 now they've drifted to 8 and it looks like I'm going to make nothing for the hassle.

Good luck

If the spins (or bonus) is completely free it doesn't matter what the wagering is. I turned a £10 casino bonus (which I qualified for by placing a bet that cost me nothing) which had a 35x wagering into a £540 win.

It doesn't happen often but it does happen. If it costs nothing then go for it.

Was going through my accounts there tonight. Had a random 32p in Sky so went into Finns Swirly Spin slot and set to 10p spins, on 3rd spin hit the feature and won up to £5.63. From there went and opted into the Stake £10 get 5 free spins in Sky casino. Played Man of Steel 25p spins resigned to a win or bust scenario, almost lost the whole £5.62 that I won on the swirly spin but on the last spin I hit the feature and ended up with £26. Got the 5 free as well with that spin but they became nothing and I logged out.

32p > £26 not too bad haha, no risking it again though as the slots are deadly, seen myself watch £26 blast away in a matter of seconds before.

It is a roller-coaster. Last month £30 up for the whole month - couldn't seem to hit anything (and that included a nice £250 win). This month, less than a week in, £850 up. Mad it is. In 2 1/2 years I am £5.5k up overall so can't complain

What sort of slots offers is that for @jkg-jkg ? I know the very basics about 'varience' but still find it hard to get my head around betting £10 to get 5 x free spins - without even looking into the whole WR on top.

You wouldn't be betting £10

You would be doing £10 worth of wagering so you could do 50 x 20p spins and hopefully you would hit a few wins throughout that journey

I did a quick guide to wagering once upon a time (https://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/inde...rs-guide-in-1st-post.5338/page-487#post-91902)

I don't do offers where the number of spins to win is less than the amount in £ to wager. So I don't do £10 for 5 but will do £5 for 5 or £10 for 10.

With 0% commission on Matchbook and Smarkets it is usually easy to get a no loss Qualifier for a Bet and Get type slots/casino offer so I tend to do those. I do tend to do the WH ones, but that has to also be classed as 'fun' as the maths (30x wagering) do not really line up (although over time I am in a nice profit on those)

Thanks for the replies @Jon and @jkg-jkg :)

yes, I know you don't necessarily have to play through the FULL £10 or whatever, Jon but I am not as lucky as you with them, ha ha!

I saw the 'bookmark' icon after you mentioned it but it does not show as green unless you click on it - at least on a desktop pc :)

Handy to know it exists though :)
