About to start.... I think!

Hi

Well after reading about matched betting some time ago I have decided to make a start. My plans are:-

Firstly open a dedicated current account for matched betting only.
Secondly create a dedicated email address
Thirdly find a spreadsheet that I understand to track everything - the one I looked at by ultimatcher looked very complex, are there any basic simple ones around?
Fourth join profit accumulator and start slowly!

Have I missed anything? One thing that concerns me, I have read the post from Jon for beginners that you may need proof of a utility bill/council tax bill to withdraw winnings, has anyone actually needed this as I don't have any in my name?

It's quite likely some bookmakers may need you to provide some form of ID for money laundering checks. A driving licence/passport and something with your address on it are usual things they ask for.

If you don't have any bills then a bank or credit card statement might be ok.

You don't have to worry about a spreadsheet with Profit Accumulator or OddsMonkey as they now both have 'built in' profit trackers!!!

I don’t have a Utility Bill in my name either they are all in my husband’s name.
It isn’t a problem though as bookies have accepted a Bank Statement instead.
As long as it has you name as either a joint account holder or just your name that is fine.
I tend to use an account I hardly use so it doesn’t have many transactions or info on it.
