I know about football accas when it comes to straight out betting, I use to play them every few weeks but when it comes to MB I'm a little lost on how you make a profit with them or is it a case of you don't always and is more pot luck and hope for the best?

and as for playing them, from what I've read I think I understand I need to -

Place the acca, all games to have different times and not over lap
back each game one by one on the exchange but only once the previous game is finished
stop if/when I lose a result (team wins, I put them to lose etc)
and that's it? anything else important I'm missing or need to know?

Use Acca Catcher on PA. Everything is just spoon fed to you

Games
Odds
Amounts you need to bet with
It even emails you when a game of yours is about to take place

There are four main ways of doing Accas. No Lay, Sequential, Lock-in, and Lay All. The MB reason for doing these is to make a small QL and hope to get the free bet from one leg losing. No lay is just doing normal accas but pick those that have a good EV and expecting over time to get a good return. Sequential is the one where you lay one leg at a time (a lot of the time the odds on these move during the week to turn a small QL into a small profit). Lock-in is a variant of this where you 'use' the potential free bet return to 'guarantee' a return (usually £4 to £5) but you don't stop laying until 2 legs have lost. Lay All is when you lay all legs at the beginning, and with this model you make a small loss if only one leg loses but usually make a profit on any other result (typically £8-10 if no legs lose).

OM have tools for all these, but I have difficulty recommending them. 1 in 6 of my Accas are using their tools, and I pay for the PA Acca software (on top of my base OM subscription) to specifically use their Acca software which I use for at least 5 out of 6 (in fact this month so far I have only done 1 out of 18 Accas using OM). OM tools tend to miss a lot of potential matches. If I used OM Sequential today for Lads ,say, they would find an option but it would be a QL of £5, PAs software would typically find an option with a £2 QL. I am doing 20+ Accas a month so I am easily saving the £16 subscription to PA and on top I get their match catcher for free which is handy for the Racing offers.
