Hi guys. I've been working at an adult text job now for nearly two years. I've made a part-time living from it and now take adult calls. I was made redundant due to covid and now I'm a full time free lancer. Anyone who is going to try and make a living from texting then I would recommend doing a touch typing course. I did and it pays off. I can manage up to 100 messages per hour and it's been a lifesaver. I don't feel bad about this type of living. I'm a single parent who is disabled and for me, it's all about being self-sufficient. I don't feel like I'm scamming. I'm working and paying my taxes like the next person. We all choose whether to spend our money on gambling or the lottery or online fantasy sites. Fact! I will suggest also that you have good grammar and you can get addons to help with this. The last thing you need is a flair for acting and if you have all three you can make a living from this. :)

Where do you find a touch typing course?

I paid for mine, It's about £7 a month but you can find a lot of free ones. I personally used https://www.typingclub.com/ because I liked the way you got badges etc as you got better. I'm a big fat child like that :D It also has very high levels which I didn't complete but they do all your number learning and symbols, you can go as high as you feel the need to. You will find your typing is shocking slow to start with but you have to go through that process to make it to a decent speed. It's been worth it for me. It's changed my life.

Can you cancel at any time? I'm averaging about 30 messages an hour, I've only been doing it 2 week, another thing I struggle with is being unique xx

Good Morning All, I've been reading the last few pages of this thread, I'm really interested in this. Any links or tips for a total newbie would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, yes you can cancel whenever you want to. Which company are you working for? You can send me a message if you like so you don't get into trouble discussing the company. You won't make much on 30 an hour but with some typing training you will be making a lot more xxx

I can't do a 100 an hour despite being a touch typist but I do read & make notes and look at previous messages so probably would be quicker. It's slow on the site I am with at the moment so sometimes I am sat waiting for messages to appear

Yes, it's quiet on all of the platforms right now as it's February. Things will pick up once everyone gets paid again. Jan and Feb are never good in any industry. I've done 100 and made notes but I've had to be very focused. I also brought an ergonomics keyboard which helps. None of the messages are back to back at present though as you've said.

A flair for acting? Like, what the hell's that?

What site do you work for, by the way?

I've worked on most of these sites, so if anyone's thinking about joining this is my opinion.

Cloudworkers - worked here for over a year, found it hell. I did like the entertaining 'motivational' emails but there were a lot of irritating ones too, threatening to sack people etc. I preferred the monthly pay rather than weekly. Didn't enjoy the shift booking, but I would miss a lot of shifts and nothing was ever said. You will have emails day and night asking you to log on, and they're always really dramatic too "CRITICAL LEVEL OF MESSAGES - LOG ON RIGHT NOW!!!!" at 3am. There's a high percentage of other admins who clearly can't speak English properly, the quality of the other workers was dreadful. One message in perfect English and the next in the same conversation in broken English with no punctuation etc. It also really slowed me down when they forced me to work an additional platform at the same time. I quit last year because it made me so depressed I couldn't hack it anymore. I do miss the monthly pay though, the traffic is huge and once I made £800 in a month but I was a mess at the end of it.

Chatfromhome/ Admin Hub - I've been using this for about six months now, I like that it's 15p a message, adds up a lot more quickly. There are always plenty of messages to reply to most of the time and having the option of using a phone too means I can answer messages whilst I'm out walking, waiting to go into an appointment, standing in the checkout at the supermarket etc... you can voice type on your phone too. You don't really have to make any notes either which makes it a lot quicker. The only thing that annoys me about it is the guys all seem to send the same message every time... "Wow I'm so horny for you baby, did you have a play today?" literally the SAME damn message from every one of them. So it gets tiresome pretty quickly trying to paraphrase replies. You can take three weeks out if you want and only have to do 75 messages during the week after that to keep your account active.

Operator Chat - I signed up to this recently but I don't like it personally and I think I'm going to quit soon. The layout is a lot better than other sites, but they pull your messages up for the stupidest stuff (like using an exclamation mark) and almost all of the messages you have to type are over 250 characters long. Even when you get a short one to reply to, they will pull up your message and say you need to type more to make it more 'well rounded'. It takes forever just to get up to the first bonus and even if you did over 1700 to get to the top bonus, it works out at 15p a message which is what you start with on Chatfromhome. There's a lot to remember too with the different colours the user is under, and you get in trouble if you don't.

Contentmods - This was a decent one, I did quit it about a year ago. You only got paid for replies but I think it was 15p a message. They'd always have the same men messaging, so you'd get to know them pretty well and there was a group chat where we'd all laugh about what the men were saying. They'd also give you other tasks like making profiles where you could make up your own characters which was a lot of fun. The management were really friendly too.

Cloudworkers take a while to get back to you, operador has a waiting list at the moment.

Hi

Do you have the link for admin hub? I've seen people mention it on this forum before but can never seem to locate it online.

I've been working for Operador for 18 months but it is very quiet at the moment so looking to sign up somewhere else to make up the difference.

Thanks.

At payment of just 15p a text, surely you would have to answer hundreds of messages to make a semi decent return?
Does anyone do the phone operative jobs as an alternative? (Not sure I'm brave enough! lol)

You can make decent money with the 15p a message, they're one of the industry leaders in pay rates.

Quite a few do the phone lines, I'm sure someone will be along soon to help you out.
