Affordable Android Phone Recommendations?

I need to look for a new phone - my iPhone 5s is basically a brick at the moment, refusing to turn on (fully charged) or behave like any form of communication device - so I'm looking at switching back to Android where I've had less problems but I can't decide which one to get.

It needs to be affordable, I used to have the original Moto G which I loved but I've heard the latest version of this doesn't have an accelerometer which I kind of need as I use my phone heavily for walking based navigation so I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

Thanks in advance! :)

Our workplace “phone of choice” is the Samsung J5 which is nippy as hell!

I've bought the Huawei P10 Lite recently through a post on HotUkDeals. With cashback it ended up being £87.50, which is an insane price for the specs. 4GB of ram means it should be pretty future-proof, I'd expect to get a couple of years out of it at least.

Not sure if the deal is still live, but worth looking in to.

Looks like the deals expired now but this does sound like an insanely good deal, nice find! :)

Ah yeah, just checked the CPW website, best you could get it for (if the cashback paid out) would now be £130.

Worth getting the HUKD app and keeping an eye on the mobile phone deal posts. I was looking for a long time before I finally decided on that deal. Just avoid the chinese phone deals, although they are excellent value for money, you won't have a warranty, which is a big risk to take IMO.
