Hi there. I'm fairly new to all this after being introduced to mystery shopping by a Friend? I'm also a SAHM with long term health issues so picking up jobs as and when I can is brilliant. Currently I'm signed up with Roamers, BeMyEye, Market Force, Retail Active and ESA but would love to find more.

If anyone has any tips to improve my income as currently it's maybe £30 a week which doesn't fit with our goals haha!

Hiya!

Fantastic to have you on here and posting!

It's great you've signed up with the companies you have so far, I used to cut my teeth in the mystery shopping world with Market Force ;)

In terms of increasing your £30 a week target the most obvious one is Risk Free Matched Betting and maybe look at doing Leapforce alongside it. That would bring in an easy £700-£1000+ a month without any issue and won't involve you needing to leave the house ;)

Hi Jon. What is Leapforce? My plan is to do match betting once I have money to do it lol. The other reason I'm adding more companies to my list is we have to have a new roof and just had to pay for car repairs lol. It's all go in this house but we're on the up!

I've got a blog post all about Leapforce here

https://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/working-for-leapforce/

In terms of starting Matched Betting you only need around £60 I would say. I started out with that and have never put anymore money in!

Welcome to the forum. You'll soon realise the earning opportunities out there!

For Matched Betting, i started off with £50 and slowly built up. You don't need a big bank, it just means it'll take you longer to get going.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. So far this month my income has totalled £40 but I have a £6 mystery shop to do this afternoon and £12 one tomorrow so that's another £18. It would be great if I could reach £100 just by mystery shopping. I also have a shift at out local bakery shop on Wednesday. Thankfully the owner has cut the hours of opening by an hour so it's easier on me. That'll be another £35 in the pot with more shifts coming soon.

How do mystery shoppers cope with the travelling or do you not travel too far? My job today is near my son's swimming class and tomorrow's is within walking distance. I do visit friends in Stoke frequently so I try and get a few more I when there but don't want to spend too much on petrol

great question

I only ever used to do traditional mystery shops that were 'on the way' I was going anywhere or that I could fit in naturally. For smartphone apps like Field Agent / task360 / Roamler etc I used to be more willing to go the extra mile as they could be done in minutes, paid out nearly instantly and paid a lot more for my time!

That's true about Roamler. I also have a 3 year old 2.5 days a week with me so I don't want to drag her about too much. Maybe I'll do when my kids are both at school and I can have the time to drive around to get £15+ then it'll be worth it for me.

Not so great a day today but I did manage some.

Roamler £2.00
Streetbees £1.00

Total this month £43.50/ £100

Unfortunately a mystery shop from Streetspotr was noted as 3 miles away from its actual location so couldn't complete it. I did email the company and they have been very quick to sort it out.

I did however do some frugal jobs at home like making extra portions of fish pie for the freezer and made cupcakes with my daughter for lunches. Got a shift at the bakery tomorrow and hoping for a few more shifts being offered soon. More mystery shopping jobs tomorrow after my shift hopefully from Roamler and Streetspotr which should add up to £9. Positive thoughts for tomorrow :)

Thanks Jon I'm certainly trying my best. I am feeling very sore though after walking about 4 miles today for those £3 but it's all good exercise for me. Hopefully I'll be able to manage my shift tomorrow lol

Well I survived my shift today and plenty of shifts to come so that's £35 in the pot so I'm up to £78 for the month. No mystery shops today as all my locals had disappeared from Roamler by the time I finished work.

I'm going to trawl through the companies I'm signed up with to see if I can fine that £22 lol

That's a good clump there

Are you finding much on Market Force? I found that's where I cut my teeth in terms of learning all about Mystery Shopping

No not really. The pub ones they have never been when I can manage them unfortunately but will keep checking.

Thanks Ricky. I do have a fair amount of time to put towards it thankfully
