I've been using American Express Platinum for over a year. Although, there is a £450 membership fee, if you use all the perks that come with the card then they more than cover the fee including:-
* complimentary airport lounge access
* travel insurance
* hotel status with a number of international hotel chains
* together with many more perdk
In addition there are monthly discounts and cash back offers with retailers, hotels, etc. If theses are used together with the perks associated with the card then you'll certainly cover the membership fee.
