A great way to further utilise your money is by putting existing spend through a credit card that has rewards (American Express being one of the main ones.) If you can hit a spend target by just moving your pre existing spend onto a new card. The points can be redeemed for amazon voucher, flights, hotels and much more! For example to fly British Airways with luggage off peak to Berlin & a return back is 9000 points (air miles) & £35 'taxes' where as the same flight was £255 return with cash. It's one of many examples and obviously BA isn't always cheapest it just depends what you are looking for!
