Hi Jon,
Thanks for the debate 8) today on my Facebook group.
Perhaps we should start from scratch on your turf because I had a million complaints asking to ban you
Yes they were mainly from Younique reps.
I've not had much of a chance to look through the forum and just read through this thread. You all seem to have a dislike towards all MLM with some companies getting more grief than others.
Forever Living FL seems to have had a fair bit. Now I'm not defending it because I used to be with FL, but it just like most MLM's is a good opportunity providing you put in the time and effort. I started it to build it up for my wife while she was expecting our second child simply because I used to be with Herbalife before I relocated to South Wales. I had just sold my estate agency and was looking for a business to run from home because I've worked from home before and now with 2 young children, I wanted to be around them as much as possible. I've found that business now along with several other income streams which are now mainly automated. FL have great products and an excellent comp plan, but the products are expensive which makes it difficult to build up a business without recruiting a lot of people. You need a lot because many fail to sell enough products to warrant the time they put in which is down to the price. I also found that there were quite a few people making a lot of money in FL. My manager was earning £18,000 a month and I saw real proof every month. The thing is that they were the first people in the area that they were based to start up a FL business and by recruiting heavily, they built up enough CC@'s which is FL's own currency to get them up the ladder and secure a position of manager which brings with it lots of income and bonuses. The photo that you believed is photoshopped is quite real as well. They were the first to start FL in Wales about 13 years ago and have built up a huge team. I saw them collect a cheque for £500,000 last year.
I would not recommend the business to anybody even though some people have become millionaires from it and many more earn huge sums every month.
Sorry for droning on
which brings me to something regarding our Viral Angels debate
I'm watching Sky news now and it's talking about drones and the news about Amazon with their idea of delivering parcels by unmanned drones. One of the companies that VA members have shares in is Aerial Drones System. Currently these shares are worth around £1. It's expected to be a $10 billion market place in a couple of years which means that these shares could easily increase by at least 10 times.
Trig was mentioned in the links that you sent me. Trig floated on the German stock market last month and their share price when they were listed was 3 euros. VA members were purchasing these at 1 and 2 cents each.
Athabasca is based in Cardiff and will be floated on the London stock exchange before Christmas. We could buy these shares for 20-30p each until a month ago when it became known that they are close to floating. The shares have risen by 400% and are worth around £1.40. I expect them to be listed at around £4. In a year I expect they will be worth around £10. I bought 50 for £10 & 20p each. They are now worth £70. If I am correct then they will be worth close to £200 when they float and £500 in a year. If I had enough spare money I would have invested a lot more. I am happy to invest £10 for 12 month
s and have £500 returned though. Might not make me rich, but it certainly makes my money work for me a lot better than any bank etc.
Now then, my tin hat is going on
