Another blog in the new year - domain ideas

I'm thinking of starting a blog in the New Year with the intention of monetising. It's more than likely going to be based around the chatter we have in my part time office job, which seems to be about stuff we've bought and what we might buy etc. We all have a different family set up - one is a young single mum with a small family, Ive got a mix of kids, adults and teenagers in mine and we work with a lady who has an extended family of possible millions of people..There alwatys some one to buy for, always one of us talking about something theyve bought for one of the kids, a sibling or partner.
We were laughung the other day as this blog will be an idea between a few of us - we seem to do nothing but working and shopping so perhaps the domain could be either

How are you going to monetise it? Product reviews or something for the gifts you buy?

If purchasing is going to be a big part of the site then I would go with workshopbuy maybe

I like workshopbuy. Though I can't help seeing it as "workshop buy" now hehe.

I was thinking about something like this the other day as I was bidding on winter coats for the kids that I should probably have bought these in the summer. Problem you can't predict their size 6 months ahead but a post around when to buy which family items for the best price is lurking in my head.
