Any tips for my blog?

I run a nail polish/care etc blog at http://nails.marblesky.co.uk - the only trouble is, nail blogs are ten-a-penny these days, and all featuring people with much nicer hands than me! I think the only regular reader is my best friend. I'm not very good at promoting myself - just wondered if anyone had any opinions on what I'm doing/tips for me? I don't really want to give it up, but I'm worried I might be running this blog for nothing but the sake of something to do...

Are you doing this blog as a hobby or do you want to run it as a business/brand to earn money?

It's *mainly* a hobby, but a few pennies here and there would help with my hosting costs etc. It's also about getting people to see it in the first place, I suppose.

Then if it's views you want and you don't want to invest any money then social media should be your primary advertising platform

Use Pinterest. Sign up then you can create boards and pin images from your Blog. People will then check out your Blog.
Make sure you list your Blog in your Pinterest Profile.
Get your Blog approved for Adsense and use Skimlinks and Amazon Affiliate Program. Also Commission Junction once you are approved you can put ads on there for webhosting/domain names or maybe something related to your nail theme blog.
