Proinsight are a great company to work for, the optician shops are historic so they were visit ones that stopped as a result of the lock down, they may start again once we are out and they can be done safely. The only ones that were available were pizza delivery shops but they may have gone or not in your area? The pizza are £5 but you get £15 worth of food.

Centrebound is not a paying one as such they give you £25 towards your shop so I have always treated it as just that I do my weekly shop and it is cheaper as a result. It comes back to how you approach things. For me a lot of this kind of work I do are used to offset things I may already pay for or they work as treats.

There’s a long list of jobs on Proinsight but most are the Opticians and the others I can’t do.

To be honest traditional mystery shopping wont be back for some time so you wont find much at the moment on there.

Well, I'm still plodding along here. Been picking up some copywriting work from a few companies which is plugging the gap a bit from income I have lost.

Being flexible with what you are willing to do to earn online is going to be key over the coming 6 months.

If you think you can live off bank card signups or whatever those days are numbered as those sort of offers that you can promote and earn from are getting pulled left, right and centre.

I have just done an online website test for People for research. If they accept it I will get a £10.00 voucher for half an hours work. I also had an Email for an online study for London business school.

Do we feel we are coming out the other side then now with all this?

Surveys seem to be back, transcribe work is a go! WSE / Social Media rating work is still coming through, Matched Betting is back with bombastic offers, work is returning to the apps like Roamler, BeMyEye etc, LOADS of online testing / focus group work around (can only see that getting bigger you know!)

The only thing I'm still not seeing any work on is the traditional mystery shopping sites which still seem to be empty as anything.

I have just finished an online focus group. It was painfully slow as you had to wait for everyone to type their comments and then the moderator to read them before replying. The survey sites seem to be quieter than normal. I am not getting as many covid ones as at the beginning of lockdown. There is no mystery shopping yet and Redwigwam don't seem to have any thing. I have had more academic studies as they are all online now, either through sites like prolific or direct from the universities. I also review products for an online grocer and have been quite busy as a lot of small businesses want to start selling online. I think there is work out there but you need to be flexible and prepared to try new things.

Yes, I agree that flexibility is key. I keep seeing facebook adverts about training for various online businesses for instance life coaching, but I'm not sure. May dip my toe in matched betting again, but tbh dont want to pay out for it at the moment, but might need to bite the bullet and do it again.

Yes I think things will be weird for a while so being flexible and probably not spending unnecessarily is important. I am looking at as many ways to make a bit of extra money passively from interest rates, dividends, peer to peer lending. Nothing too crazy or risky though. Just things that will help when my Appen projects end and Neevo/prolific goes through a dry spell.

Doubling Down / Feeling pressured to earn money can produce some amazing things you know. Since April / May I've seen so many people now running websites, blogs, online courses, selling things they've created on ebay/etsy etc..

Got to wonder if without Coronavirus would these people be doing that? Probably not but maybe this can be one of the good things to come out of this pandemic!

Well it looks like every major city will soon enough end up in local lockdowns then

Anyone else getting slightly nervy and doubling down again in their efforts to earn extra money online!

Seen lots of sad stories on twitter today about people who run businesses in Wales and other area and are just getting no support and everything is falling apart!

I'm assuming that by the end of next week, we'll effectively be under a second national lockdown, with most major towns and cities under local measures.

And yes, I'm as industrious as a rat building a stash of snacks. It's the only thing to keep me sane right now.
