Another thing i've noticed is that time is of the essence!

The tipster email comes out around 9am and if you can place the bets in the first 30mins or so you tend to get the exact odds they are quoting and sometimes better!

If you get to it a few hours later you can end up with slightly worse odds than are being quoted

I signed up with Lee Bollingbroke a while ago, didn't really get anywhere. I only did a very small number of the bets and got one win.

DIASTEERRRRR
well so far

Currently 17.21pts down but I know this stuff is for the long haul and I've got some interested ones on today which may pull everything back lol

it's like a bloody rollercoaster doing this compared to matched betting which is obviously profit > profit > profit > profit > profit > profit

Well done for staying with it. It scares people off sometimes if it starts with several losses.

My system for trading the unders/overs market has now crawled back into profit after taking a £100 loss due to me not following several of my own rules and chasing losess. Discipline is key.

I'm not, this is my own system. But you would chase losses by betting more on the next match than the system would recommend, because you're sure that bet will win and cover the losses from before. (except if it doesn't you're in an even bigger hole)

tell you what

DO NOT watch your bets IN PLAY

It can be quite depressing when you've placed your bet at 8am when the email comes out and then you see the inplay offers be far, FAR higher and for them to go on and win!!

Well it's the end of the first month and I'm 28 points down

So that's £28 loss but onwards and upwards. I've paid for 3 months upfront with this service so I shall carry on.

The BettingGods website works really well to be fair and there are all sorts tipsters on there you can sign up for!

I don't follow any tipsters, I'm perfectly capable of losing money myself :D but I've just had a quick search and Psychoff is giving out free in play goal alerts on his telegram channel. I've just joined so will see how it goes. He gave out 20 tips in August, up 2.24 units, 5 so far this month, up 2.6 units.

If anyone else wants a go:

Punters lounge is quite good. I use it in 'reverse' as part of my new betting system to help pick lays. Once I've picked a horse to lay, if its turns out to be one of their tips I ditch it and look for something else.

I was playing with unders/overs for football but hit a losing streak and never managed to recover, so that system went the way of the dodo. Done about a dozen low stakes horse lays so far and haven't hit a winner yet. Fingers crossed I can keep it up. Its a useful process to go through anyway as it helps me spot horse that might not win so I can avoid too many winners during my matched betting.

Can you explain the reason you do this, not sure I quite get it!

I've been doing a few 50p lays, just for fun. I pick out the horse in a race that I think surely wont win, then check it against a few tipsters pages just to make sure noone is tipping the horse to win, because then I might have made a mistake. If I do see it tipped to win I usually look for another one or a different race just to be in the safe side.

So far I am at the giddy heights of £6.50 up with no losses yet.

Interesting tactic.

I assume you put a lot of faith in the advice the tipsters are giving if you are going after horses they DON'T tip

@homie, so if I have got this right, you ONLY place a Laybet, and it is on the horse that you think is going to lose (as a laybet is Against the horse winning)? No bookie bet involved at all - so less chance of a gubbing, ha ha!
