Anyway this is great, I wasn't sure if I'd got into their system or not, at least now I know I'm getting invites

I just assumed that they'll have a quota on what dialects they need recordings for, so if you pass those initial questions then you'll get into the group for your dialect area.

If you're doing the same one I am, I think it will get paid into the Payoneer account we had to make, and then from there we have to choose to withdraw it ourselves. If you log onto their website, you can see the withdrawal options.

I don't know I'm afraid. I wouldn't be surprised if there's an email from Payoneer saying something like, "xx has just sent you £xxx.xx"

Me too! Did you get a smaller amount than usual? I'm assuming/hoping that's due to them changing the date on which they pay us...

Had a rejection email for one project, the in-car Siri-type thing, but got another email about some crowdsourcing work. Haven't read the full blurb yet.

Yep I did. Yeah it was because of the payment changes. The next one will be back to normal/monthly

Hi, been absent recently but hope to get back into things again now. I have seen the transcriber stuff at the beginning of the thread and wonder if there will be some more I can apply for - sorry, not read through the entire thread.

Found a link from [member=1]Jon[/member] for them but can't see anything in the current vacancies. I'm after the more simple (boring?) tasks as I think the web search evaluator may not suit me and I do not do FB etc. so the Social Media one is out. Nor sure what the Crowdsourcing one would entail?

Any help appreciated, thanks. Just registered for self assessment with HMRC, and looking into doing some Mystery Shopping too. Already do a little MB'ing.

No income and looking for 'at home' tasks to fit around commitments - like a lot of people on here, I suppose.

In my experience it is completely random. The best thing you can do with Appen and similar websites is just sign up, do all the relevant qualification tasks and exams and be completely honest.

Then just wait for emails and notifications with your fingers crossed.

Well, it looks like we don't get an email every time we receive payment after all My money is in my Payoneer account and I didn't receive any notifications this time. If you're waiting for yours check your account.
