Appen [OT] Appen Work Opportunities

Completed this tonight, think I made bit of a pigs ear of it and then the dog sat next to me and started washing itself making noises in the background whilst record button was on...mine was 15 australian dollars (around £9) if I get paid that is!

Can someone please tell me how to check if I can do this one? I joined about 2-3 months ago and have had a couple of emails for local work but nothing for this.

I can't see how to log in to an account at all, only how to join? I'm not on Facebook or anything so cannot go via that avenue.

I think it was the Talent Network I applied for, Language Specialist, Transciber, Fluent English. I did not upload a CV or anything though?

I've not done it yet but do you not just click on the email and follow through with the instructions?

very easy, just follow the instructions in the email and you can't go wrong!

Sorry, [member=1]Jon[/member] I didn't explain very well - I haven't actually received an email for this task so can't do that. I'm just wondering how I get the emails for these sort of jobs. There are so many job categories so I don't know if I am down in the right area (see my earlier post).

Are you supposed to send in a C.V.? Sorry for all the questions. Really need to find some work from home stuff that is easy that I can do, thanks

I know you say you don't do Facebook and Twitter but for those sort of jobs all you need is a dummy account as you can just looking at other peoples / companies pages and profiles

Would it not be worth doing what they want just to get access to the jobs and then more money?

Looks like they are sending out the recruiter jobs for this again. It's not for me personally but I am sure someone else on here will apply and give everyone the opportunity of getting some voice recording work.

It's a smaller batch so obviously the commission is a lot smaller than last time for essentially the same amount of work so I'm just going to do one wave of people on here and one wave on various social media channels and be done with it. Not going to baby people through it - just sending out the standard instructions and letting people have a go.

There don't appear to be any limits on numbers. They want as many people as possible. That being said:

If anyone want's to earn $15AUD for recording 500 short phrases (should take between 30-60 mins) then please drop me a private message including your email address (preferably PayPal friendly so you can be paid through it too).

This is available to PC, Laptop, Mac & Android users! iPhone doesn't work unfortunately.

If you have done this before and are familiar with the process can you let me know in your message and I won't give you the 'for dummies' instructions - you can just crack straight on with it.

As soon as I get the go ahead I will email out all the instructions and leave you to it.

Hello,

I have just posted in the beginners section and explained that a couple of weeks ago I completed a task for Appen that involved me recording 500 words and phrases and uploading them. I really enjoyed doing this and would like to be offered some more work with them.

They thanked me for the work and asked if I would like to ask others to take part in doing the same, where I have to pay them via PayPal, it sounds good but I'm worried I will get confused by it and make a mess of it. I seen this thread about the work that Appen do and thought I would seek some advice from people who have worked for them before.

Many thanks for any help and guidance you can offer me.

I read in the email that we would be paid within 14 days which I assume to have meant from the closing date of 30 Jan...fingers crossed!
