I haven't been paid for the 500 voice recordings yet but when I log into Appen I can see that it has been approved in the payroll for 28th Jan to 10th Feb and their system says it is in the process of being paid, so we should all be getting it soon.

This is my first experience of receiving payment from Appen so wasn't sure what to expect.

It's okay...I've sussed it out...a bit confusing as there's appen talent network, appenonline and appen.com...but I got there! Yep payment cleared but not paid yet. I was wondering if we are now getting a lower rate than we used to as most of my previous payments were at least $30 some $75 now $15!

[member=340]Darcey[/member] think it is about the same yes. I've done that many different ones it's hard to keep track. But the one in April last year that people had referral codes on here for was $22 for doing 1000 recordings so if anything this one is a bit better paid.

AND... excitingly... got accepted onto a massive new project, well paid and loads of hours so this will totally make up for my dropped day at work and some on top - things are looking up...

Well according to that interview I saw the other month in the red newspaper that shall not be named, you got a holiday to Florida on Marketforce jobs so anything is possible! ;D

Yeah, usually to be considered for new projects you need to be registered properly with Appen. Go through the various spelling tests and stuff.

It takes a bit of time but if you need extra cash and have some time on your hands it is so worth it!!

Hi [member=4345]Lyndsr1[/member] I just applied for work with them and received an email today asking me for two photographic ID copies. I only have passport as I'm still on the old style paper driving licence so hoping that'll be okay. I'm assuming this is the norm? Be interesting to know if anyone else has done this.
