When you're a kid everything tends to be an adventure which you have no say or control over.

As an adult like is generally one big stress with bits of work and money worries dotted throughout.

There are honestly very few things I get excited about as an adult which is pretty sad I guess. For me I still enjoy going to films, I LOVE holidays abroad, New technology that I know will improve my life I always like to buy but all these things seem to be few and far between.

Is this honestly as good as it gets as an adult do you think? I look at my parents as they are both retired and just go on endless random holidays at incredibly short notice so maybe the 'fun' part of your life is the beginning and the end and the middle bit that's full of 'work' actually isn't meant to be fun????

I am working with a Liverpool fan at the moment. As I am agency I don't have to go to staff meetings so he gave me a piece of paper with "a weekly update" on it. Opened it to see a photocopy of the goals. Kids were on the way in so no swearing.

I honestly can't really remember last time i was excited about something. I was excited about my trip to saudi Arabia a few years ago and i was pleasantly surprised by all the cats there and the friendly people. Some places looked a bit third world, while others looked more modern. I loved climbing mountains and seeing the holy sites. One thing i noticed was you could actually see the stars at night. The sky looked pitch black with little twinkles dotted around.

My excitement as told in the art style of...gifs

I think it's great that live music still gets you excited. I've seen some great acts over the last few years but my days of being in a mosh pit are WELL over!!! WHAT IF I INJURE MY BACK!!!??!?!?

I guess being poor and chronically ill really distorts your ideas of fun... but for me?

Seeing my baby niece
Feeding our savings account (yes really, we're finally, for the first time, building an emergency fund!)
We host parties once every month or two, so them.

When we last could afford one, my holidays <3

Might think of some others later.
