I'm also stuck at the verifcation bit on Wechat - can't seem to get past the signup bit!

You shouldn't (to the best of my knowledge) have been sent a link to WeChat. It's being done on a different platform because they couldn't get past the verification issue. I have an email in to find out what's happened. If you want to, you can send an email in yourself to see if it speeds them along.

I downloaded it from the app store as per the instructions I was sent but yeah, basically can't get past the verification part. Will email them too though.

Anyone actually started doing work with them yet? If so is your work getting passed ok? I’ve done the training and I passed albeit they said there were some mis-pronunciations. I am Scottish so have a strong accent - just a bit concerned that I sit and do the work but some work gets bounced. I have emailed them to see if there is ones that your not sure how to pronounce, if you can skip these as otherwise this might not be a great project for me.

You should just go back to the same Safari site you did your training on.

I will admit that there were a couple of place names in the training ones that I had never heard of. I used an online pronunciation site to check how to say them

I'm midway through the first one hundred, but the site now shows the message "Safari cannot open the page because it could not connect to the server". Does anyone else have this?

I’m having the exact same problem. Thought I would get some of the recordings out of the way while I had the house to myself for a few hours but it looks like that’s not going to be happening.

I did the first 100 earlier and everything was fine, but now I've checked again and I'm seeing the same message as you, the site must be down currently.

I am Geordie so have a strong accent too, but I just google the odd one I dunno how to pronounce.
