Guys!! It's the August thread. I just want to let you all know, that traditionally, August is a harder month - especially if you're a parent.

Kids are off, you're spending less time online, you're out doing things with the family. If you don't meet your target then don't worry, August is a bugger!

Good luck with all your earnings this month. I'm technically on holiday until the 8th so I'll be around even less than normal. I've not gone anywhere but I have a few friends staying with us, including a friend from the US :D

Have a great one.

I'll take for the first time. New girl just getting started really so not sure what target to give myself so will go with the what a smallish target which I can hopefully actually reach. Side note if I do start matched betting will go with target two.

August target £100

(if I start matched betting £250)

Question. Do we include as we earn or when arrives in bank acocunt?

I'm new here...! Looking to make some money as not working at the moment (I got made redundant when I was pregnant, I now have an 8 month old little girl) - I've had my last maternity payment so need to bring in some money somehow!!

So, not too sure what I should set my target as really!!

Hi @fajita

Sorry to hear about your reduendancy. Sadly that's how a lot of people find TMS but they have been able to then turn things around using the information and community on here!

What sort of things are you doing at the moment to earn money online or rather what would you want to get into?

Do you have a minimum amount you need to earn each month ?

I've been AWOL from here for a while but need to get back into it, I've been off getting married in New York and having the holiday of a lifetime so got to pay the credit card bills and start saving for another holiday soon!
I'll set my target at £500 for this month, should be achievable with getting back into match betting and got a few survey sites adding up.

I've started on some survey sites a few weeks ago but joined another 3 last night after reading blog posts on the best sites to use.

That's been it really - ready to get stuck in now though and open to suggestions!

We're in a fortunate position where we have lots of language schools nearby so we can use that income as my contribution to the joint account, however of course the summer period is the busiest! I've just registered with a lot more schools (previously we've just used the one as they've kept us busy throughout summer) so hopefully we'll get more bookings "out of season" this year but I don't really know how much we'll get.

So in an ideal world, excluding the student income I would think I'd be looking at c. £500 minimum at the moment. I don't see how I could make the happen though?!

Well the most obvious thing to do would be to drop the survey sites and just do the likes of risk free matched betting (£600+ a month) and then do Web Search Evaluator work (£400+a month)
Throw in some smartphone task apps from the likes of bemyeye and Roamler and you should clear £1000 with not a survey to be seen!

Great - definitely going to look into match betting and give that a go!

How do I find Web Search Evaluator work?

I actually downloaded the smartphone task apps last night after looking at the site - Roamler doesn't have enough in my area though so wouldn't let me join but hopefully bemyeye and field agent will bring a bit of £ in.

If Roamler want an invite you can get that off me once you hit a post count of 10 on here ;)

The work is dynamic so while there may not be any work today that may not be the case on Thursday
