You can transfer the grand whenever you went but you need to wait for the card to transfer it out again as you need the card number to 'activate' the online payments section of the online banking.

No worries, got there in the end, well i dont have my sign in details as yet, said up to 3 days for that. Hopefully it gets accepted, some questions that made no sense to me (A pull down box asking province passport was issued from with loads of 2 letter codes... just picked a random one, also asks for front and back of passport.. seemed odd,so i took pic of front and the photo page) for sure worth doing for £70

I scanned across the two photo pages (p.3/4) and the reverse of the photo page... essentially page 1 with all the 'Her Britannic Majesty' etc stuff and page 2 which repeats your passport number. Doubt this actually matters though!

I'm in the exact same boat as you! Done a lot of bank switches in the past year and whilst my credit score isn't bad, it's not the 999 it was before!

I meant to say @Jamke, if you've been put off this so far by not wanting another search on your credit score, it doesn't seem to have even been picked up on mine.

Well they have since phoned and said the application was all good (using front of passport and photo page) I found trying driving licence was impossible, asking mental questions about the issuing of it that every answer was wrong so canned that... so now i am just waiting a few days for account details and can get in about this

Edit: never mind, sussed it, you ignore first 4 zeros, OK grand deposited, lemme know you get your £70 (Assume its credited as soon as money goes in to account)

Yeah just remove enough 0's at the start to make it 8 digits long. The actual numerical bit is the most important rather than the 000s

Ahh.. That explains that then.. Am sure it's all fine but that does sound a bit off putting... I explained that to 3 friends who were going to sign up but aren't bothering now.

I guess the best way to play it now would be sign up before the 5th May. Deposit on 20th. Withdraw deposit and bonus on the 22nd/23rd
