Hi Jon,

I'm on my laptop. Have tried as you suggested
Edit - I've done it but still showing as fractions on the main page, it's only when I've pulled up the betting slip that it shows the decimals.... must be a quirk of the betfred site?
I selected the match from PA and it showed the same odds....
Thank you - starting to enjoy this now! Waiting for results and free bets to come in now.:):(
honestly, it's not you
the betfred and totesport websites are a bloody nightmare to use!

I know OddsMonkey refers to Betfred a lot but I prefer to use Smarkets, it's so easy to use and there's plenty of matches available.

Thank you 'my side hustle'. I am systematically working my way through the sign up offers with PA, so am only at the point of using Betfair at the moment as my exchange. I have had a good look around the smarkets site and I think I will switch to them once I have worked through some more of the offers.

Thank you for your advice.

Hi,
Well £37.69 profit from my first two free bets...yay! And waiting for 3rd match to play out tonight to get another £7 ish from that.
Happy with that, BUT....a bit stuck now as although there is money in the exchange, I have not a lot left in my bank so waiting for £43 ish to be credited back to my bank from the bookies. I will need this to complete the next £50 sign up offer on the list. I'm a bit cautious still, so doing everything totally in order according to PA. Just have to keep my impatient side at bay! husband made me promise to stick to our initial available bank roll of £200 so even though it's tempting to transfer from our main account into my MB'ing bank account to carry on, a promise is a promise.

Happy with everything else so far though, and enjoying it. Don't like money being all over the place but have to accept that.
Can't wait to carry on!

Thank you again for all your invaluable advice. :)

Hi all,

Just an update from me. I am totalling £113 profit since starting MB'ing on 4th November. Really happy with this - I was stalled a bit by shifting funds and a weekend away in the middle but overall I think it's a keeper!

Got loads more sign up offers to do and am looking forward to the re-load offers. I think this is where it gets harder and where it will prove itself in terms of continuing additional income. I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to it, as I work full-time and have two children so life was already a juggle before!

I am really enjoying it though, and husband likes my new-found interest in the footie.... He's also keen for me to take advantage of any darts (something about the power) and cricket (all that for a little pot??)

I will continue to post and update (as well as more stupid questions no doubt)!

Thanks everyone for this amazing site

Hi,

I've just received the following email - sounds like a good offer. I've only had my account with WH for a few days and just worried that this is too good to be true? Like is it a trick??? My FB with them won, so I have money in there already....? I haven't done any mug bets with them.

We hope you’re enjoying your first experiences with William Hill, and to give an extra boost we have a special offer for you.

Simply stake £10 on any sport by the next 7 days and we’ll give you 3x £5 free bets to use as you wish at any point in the four days that follow.

Thank you (again)!!

I would personally do that but I would do a £10 mug bet before you do it

Hi Jon,

I was thinking this too but how will I mug bet now? If I bet £10 they'll credit me with the free bets?? Is there any way around this?

Thank you

Hi All,

Just an update...Mb'ing is going well! Working my way through the sign up offers still. Had two extra offers from W/Hill which were well worth doing.
Had to transfer a bit from our main account into the exchange today which I'm not too happy about, but I have so many FB's to complete now, with it being a good footy day tomorrow (never in a million years did I ever think I would type those words!!) So I have 7 x FB's either already in or to do tonight for tomorrow.
So everything is pretty much tied up, but after about 4.45pm tomorrow, I'll be able to do a proper total up of my first few weeks.

Really, really enjoying it. Still really don't like money being all over the place but getting used to it.

If there was one main thing I've learned so far, it's to keep a 'running record'. I would have missed so much without my trusty list of things to do. Sometimes it's felt overwhelming keeping track of everything but definitely worth it.

I'll hopefully be able to update with a total profit tomorrow!
Unless, I've made a major mistake, in which case I'll be sulking in the corner with my wine!

Thanks again for all the support and info on here.

Sarah. :)

I completely agree with keeping a running record. My money is all over the place, I am with three different bookie exchanges although I mainly only use one. I have a spreadsheet with a list of money going in and out of betting websites and how much money I have where.

Sounds like you are doing fantastic Sarah.

After you've been doing it for a few months you will wonder why you haven't been doing it for years!!

I used to use Ultimatcher to keep track of everything but now just use the built in profit tracker on PA as I can use it as I go and it very nice to be able to have access to that information no matter where I am which is something Ultimatcher could never offer due to it being a physical spreadsheet lol

Update....
Well, since starting MB'ing on 4th November, I am sitting at £200.38 profit! Really happy with this. And have decided it's a keeper...!
I still can't get used to having bits of money all over the place, and am now wondering what to do with this profit.
Obviously, I can't take it all out if I am going to carry on as need the money in the exchange to be able to continue.
It does give me the better sign up offer options, so I think I am just going to carry on as I have done.
I'm hoping to be able to take some out before Christmas, which will make things a lot easier, financially, for us.

Cannot thank you all enough for this site and the idea and opportunity to start this very exciting journey.
I'm looking forward to studying and mastering accas soon so sorry for the stupid questions I'm bound to ask!!

Sarah.

Sarah

Once you are done with an offer you can withdraw from the bookie, you don't need to leave it there endlessly or anything

Update...
Still going well, currently standing at £363 profit from MB'ing since 4/11/17!!
Really, really happy with this, still got loads of sign up offers to do, although they are getting a bit more complicated and the 'cost' of the bets is getting higher which makes me nervous! I know it's guaranteed that you won't lose your money, (unless you make a mistake) but still makes me twitchy when I have to lay hundreds of pounds!!

I'm still really enjoying it and it's given me a new found interest in the sport, which is win win for husband!

No gubbing as yet, but there's time yet. What I do think is that I do act like a normal, novice punter. I only bet on the high profile footie matches, and if it means a little less profit then I still go for these...it's usually only a difference of pence, but I'd rather stick to my pattern than start suddenly betting on the Japanese sumo league just to gain those few pence.

husband has laughed at some of my bets with comments like, "That'll never be a draw" but I think this makes me even more plausible if that makes sense?

I've also noticed that backing and laying a draw seems to have more chance of winning into the exchange, my mind says that there's more chance of this because of this only being one result out of a possible of three?? ie. team A win or team B win versus a draw? I don't even know if this makes sense! But that's what is generally working for me.

Thanks again for this great site, without this, I wouldn't be sitting on this lovely little side earner!!

Hi,

Another update...
Now at £437 profit since 4/11/17!
Still very happy with this new-found income source... Still got a good few sign up offers to do, and my bank roll is healthy enough now to do some of the more costly ones, feeling a bit nervous about these, as it's starting to feel like I'm playing with serious money and not just £10/£20 each time.

Also, made my first mistake last night with a 'safe bet' - took some wrong advice (Not from here) and ended up calculating as 'normal' the bet then won into the bookies so now I have to wager it too....really mad with myself because I felt it wasn't right as I was doing it but told myself not to overthink it and ploughed on. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the need to understand the sums of it all? I get really frustrated when I don't understand it - it reminds me of algebra, like waiting for it to 'click'? So I lost about £6 on that, this was offset by a mind numbing couple of hours with some free spins and a bonus casino £5 which I ended up making £15 on so ended up a slightly happier bunny!

Me and husband have decided not to touch any of this money for the time being, we'll leave it all in the separate bank account and the exchange, it's tempting to draw some out to help pay for Christmas, but that would then mean starting from scratch so we've decided to carry on and keep enjoying the better offers and reloads having a decent bank roll is giving us.

Cannot thank this site enough. It's literally changing our lives, little by little! But more than that, I'm enjoying it! :D:D
