Background in teaching? Work from home as a proofreader

I know nothing about this job, except that I saw it advertised on a Facebook group that I'm a member of. The job spec says Sheffield, but it can be done from home roo.

Thankyou, I taught English for 3 years, and have proofreading and publishing experience so I might give this a go.
The job spec doesn't mention anything about being able to do it from home though, it seems office based, did it say you could work from home on the Facebook page?

Yes - I can't find it now but I believe it was someone within the organisation who was posting the job and mentioned being able to work from home.

Thanks - if it is working from home it will be something I am interested in looking at. Fingers crossed that it is.

I asked and they said for the proofreader role they would ideally want someone in the office.

Pity about that - working from home would have been ideal.
