Woof!! that is rather harsh! Try appealing it, i find BME very accommodating for things like that. Personally i havent and would'nt go anywhere near the choc tasks, but seems unfair to change payment after they have credited your account.

That seems incredibly petty. Given that they had so much difficulty getting anyone to do these overcomplicated long winded choc tasks you would have thought they would like to avoid bad publicity for the sake of 50p or perhaps they don't realise taskers compare notes on sites like this to weed out the bad jobs!
Could'nt agree more Mike, those were easily one of the toughest asks on the app, the amount a "dangling carrots" shows how hard they were to get people to do them... poor show BME

Just done one of those myself (which was open) Yes fairly simple job. Bit like the other flowers and plants jobs that come up really.

Didn't Homebase get take over a while ago? I wasn't aware they were closing down stores. Bit of a shame these big names keep disappearing. I don't want to live in a world where everything gets bought online and delivered by Amazon drone. It is quite nice to go out and browse for things sometimes.
I went into Currys/PC World today for a task and to browse for something. Asking about a product I was interested in they basically hadn't a clue and then told me to look on Amazon as it would probably be cheaper anyway. Hmm..

Not surprised to hear that at all, before Xmas i asked a staff member about Phillips Hue lights, had absolutely no idea about the product, to the point they went to a computer, looked it up on the company website and told me what it said on there!.. Since the 2 joined together the PC world side of things especially has gone way downhill... used to be "experts" in PC World (They knew more than i did) now it is just sales staff

Some guys on BME FB group seem to enjoy them too, i just dont have the patience/time/will to spend all that time on a low pay per hour task

Nothing near me either. Dobby's garden centre has come up by my nan though so if I go and see her this weekend I might take her for a wander there and squeeze it in.

I've just directed my brother in law to these apps. He travels all around Scotland with his job so I might have given you some competition.

When will the apps start increasing the tasks on offer? I've got a holiday I want to pay for now!:)

LOL i welcome the challenge hehe (I do most my app work down south) There is no set rule, although they do all die a death at this period, but, they should pick up again soon, but you have to remember the apps are very fluid, so, best advice is just keep checking all apps... I think Task 360 have a big one coming in next few days... Roamler is unusually extra quiet at the moment, can't see that lasting. Am looking more at traditional MS jobs at the moment when its quiet on the apps, plenty work across those if you like doing them...

Anyone managed any of these Coffee machine finder tasks?

I'm not entirely sure what kind of premises they are asking us to find a coffee machine, by the looks of it has to be a workplace only machine and not open to the public?

Hmm £8 for the vending machine seems tempting. I wonder how long it'll be up for?
Definitely looks like they're asking for private offices.

I have tried this a few times last month when visiting factories/offices on work, have yet to find a single one with one of the Espresso machines they want... and yes it has to be a factory or office. Only once did i submit one, it was at Stansted Airport airside in the Fedex shed (So not really open to all) got rejected as "in a public accessible place"

I did one in work, the usual selecta type vending machine, was paid £8.

Pretty hard to think of anywhere but an office where this can be done.

Seems to permanently be on the app (in its last days haha)
