@BreeziOG Where you'd have been fully ABTA/ATOL protected...

Actually my mistake and your correction just proves the point I have been making.

ABTA ATOL are a measure of protection for those booking holidays covered by ABTA ATOL within that industry.

Your money with bookies is not protected. There is no protection.

I'm not in competition I am just merely pointing out that everyone's money held with a bookmakers is at risk in the event of company administration/liquidation.

I understand you are emotionally connected to MB and I have agreed you are more in control BUT your money is not 100% safe in the hands of a bookies. Lets not mix up your strategy (MB) to the safety (that I'm pointing out) of your money deposited/held with the bookmakers.

You do not have full control of your money when it's with a bookmaker not until that transfer comes through to you.

@CaoYN2018 Oh I have not suggested it's legit hence the reason I am curious to know if money has been withdrawn. However, I just took the opportunity to point out that MB (beyond the strategy) also carries a risk re money deposits.

@TheReverend I didn't say there was no risk in MB, only this scheme is much more risky than MB.

Yes, and I agree re above you have more control over your money BUT your money is with the bookies just like that outfit above (I've forgot the name of it) and in that case it is of equal risk until it is withdrawn in my opinion.

Anyway, always best to keep the above situation in mind, imo.

I think you are missing the point somewhat. It's not a case of what happens if this Prophet company goes bust. You deposit your money in a Forex trading account and give your password to some guy called Jack. He then decides what trades to make with your money. You're told not to withdraw any and just sit back and trust he will always get it right. He could lose it all at the drop of a hat.

No comparison can be drawn with matched betting regarding risk

Sounds like you know something we don't..

Has something happened to people in the 'scheme'?

From what I have been told a lot of money and accounts were hit hard last week. Some people lost a lot of money but others profited considerably due to incorrect trades being placed. The "system" that places the trades is currently turned off while the matter is investigated.

Funny how OP hasn't dropped by to update us on that though isn't it...

I got the point but I was also pointing out there is also still extra risk with MB beyond the strategy.

They both hold their own risks in different ways.

Sorry haven’t been on this website for a little while . You are correct though , there was a rogue trade , which was placed on some people’s accounts . Fortunately my account was okay .

Some people lost money , the company will reimburse the accounts which have lost.

I don't know what your true agenda is mate, but I have called the FCA and they told me there have been a lot of complaints against "prophet trading" and such rogue "scammers" trying to scam people.

Could you please stop cheers. Last time I reported a similar scam such persons were arrested albeit after one whole year.

Regards ;)

Ah here it is, I signed up (to TMS) because of this thread but then lost the page during sign up process. Been reading the posts for a couple of hours in between other bits and pieces I was doing, was skeptical in the beginning, then saw a staff member had tried it and was doing well so I started to believe, then saw that fellow staff member The Reverend still wasn't convinced and the dude he was challenging (the OP) seemed awfully defensive so I remained conflicted. Then I went to the website to look around, noticed a few grammatical errors but continued on and downloaded the brochure and noted that when you want to withdraw your money you have to contact someone and get PERMISSION! Why do I have to get permission to withdraw "MY" money? They also boast 'no contracts' (for you to sign) but actually that just means they can rob you and you've no recourse. In order to sign up you have to create an account with the broker which includes uploading your photo ID, photo of your bank card and proof of address and then, get this, you have to turn over the account login details to the anonymous Prophet.com lads (and at any time they could simply change the password and that's you done). The OP as far as I can see hasn't actually let anyone know whether or not hehas withdrawn money not to pay fees but withdrawn into a UK bank account with no fuss and on request and hasn't been on for a while, he also seems to have created the account here just to promote this. Please DON'T try this at home!

Hi CaoYN2018,

Cas is a member of this forum and has been for ages, they just happen to have invested in this scheme since it was promoted here.

I think they are just a participant and it would be a little over the top to suggest they might be arrested!
