Ah yes, it's in the brochure I had to download it again but I found it. It says they charge 30% of profit for the month PLUS £15 hosting fees??? Is that PER MONTH or is that a one-off hosting fee? I can't enter with £1k if that's a monthly hosting fee. Are they currently hitting the 20% per month return or what?
It is £15 per month for the trade copier tool. Every month I have been involved I have covered the fees and made a profit.

OK that's good, as long as I'm not having to pay fees out of my own money

I was also with another EA that charged 20% but I moved over for their customer service and paid the extra 10%.

Um, you're giving away 10% for better customer service? I don't mind bad customer service, it's all automated anyway right? How come you didn't tell us about that one as well so we could compare for ourselves? Is everything else the same but the level of customer service provided???

Because I was only with them a month. They lied about a good few things. They weren't transparent at all. So it wasn't a company I had great experience with so didn't want to share it. However, the second company I had a more positive experience with hence the reason I wanted to share it.

I see. OK, just finished reading the rest of the brochure, just have 2 more Q's if you are able to help me I'd be grateful. It says that you have to install the MT4 to your phone, can you do this on a PC instead and can you have on both a PC & phone if you want? And do you need to have the device(s) switched on 24/7 or is it OK if it is not connected to the internet sometimes and switched off?

I'll be signing up Nov 1 as long as I don't discover anything else before then (this £15 extra monthly fee was a bit of a nasty shock, they're already having 30% that should be enough since it's a robot doing the work now but anyway I know it's not your fault lol just letting off some steam).

Thanks again

I have to say I'm not impressed with the "customer service" at Prophet. I messaged an admin the other day and he was really rude to me, it's put me off to be honest. Doesn't necessarily make it a scam or anything but it is a worry that that's what I can expect should anything go wrong...

That's a shame Sarah because it was one of the reasons I moved over. Sad to hear that.

Yes you can use it on your phone mate. I've never used in on my computer. All from my phone. Sign up to Ic markets in your computer though and deposit there mate. Also you do not need ot on 24 7. It will keep running. Can you download telegram and drop me a PM with your username once done and I'll get somethings sorted with you before you join up. Adding you to potentials group and little things etc. Btw from your 1k investment I won't be making anything and I have had a 2% reduction in my fees which equates to 32 pound. Just before people think I'm making a living off this!

Yes, it's disappointing. Also no info about the rogue trade has been given and people are still waiting for reimbursements without any update since the 8th (on the news channel anyway) , which isn't that transparent really is it. I still haven't ruled out joining up but if these issues don't get resolved by December I'll have no choice anyway as there's no way I'm going in with 5k

The customer service is very poor in my opinion likely because the guys running it and most of the active people in the chat group are very young and have very little life/professional experience. It would do a lot for them to get someone in to properly clean up the chat groups and have a professional point of contact for potential customers and ongoing queries. There is a lot of growing up that needs to be done from the team and the company especially as they try to move into bigger investments.

I’m up £90.08 for the month at present on a £1k investment. So looking at £42.024 in fees at the moment including the £15 social trader fee per month. It’s a lot of charge on a small investment, leaving me currently a few quid better off than the 5% I could have made on my current account but it’s about the compounding more so I think.

I cannot see any way the EA will hit 20% target in the next few days, but there is a lot going on in the political landscape and it seems that there is good Risk Management in place on it so making less is preferable to massive risk.

Of the 39 trades placed sine the 1st October 4 trades have been losing for me, one finished in a small profit but the market fees on it made it a 41p loss.

If you do some research and join the right groups on Facebook and speak to he right people you can get some good EA's with way less % to pay per month.

to be honest something like this I'm surprised they are giving a refund I've done something like this before and lost £400 and never got it refunded as any 1 actually received a refund from them ?

90% have had refunds. Final few will be the start of Nov. You are right mate. Its bot something a company would normally do at all.

I'm in the same boat as you, assume you started at the beginning of November? No way in hell is it going to hit the 20% promised, or even 15% for that matter.(before they take their fees). Part of me wants to opt out already and part of me wants to last another month.

The other thing that is annoying, is they seem to go on lots of 'trips' and holidays, and during those periods the trades slow down and today nothing at all is happening. Not sure thats a good image to have to your clients.

Did you mean October?

The system is turned off at the moment, so its 10% for this month.

Have you actually joined, because them going on holiday won't make a difference in the number of trades being placed. the system is automated.

Sorry, yes i meant October. This is my first month so just trying to learn the processes a bit still.

Must have been a few convenient slow patches then that married with their trips
