You have asked more than enough questions and you know exactly what you are doing.
I don't think enough questions are being asked, and thats probably the issue. Questions bring out answers. Answers that are either true or false.

I'm asking questions to get to the truth.

I am sure you have probably tried to close this thread many times yourself.

Nope. I've not reported anything on this thread, even the personal insults, and I've certainly not made a request to have the thread closed.

Anyway go back through the threads and you will find your answers because you have 0 intentions of investing and your only goal is to put people off.

So only people who have <>0 intention of investing can ask questions? Also, who said I had no intention of investing? How do you know I'm not already in your Telegram group and earning ££££££?

My goal is not to put people off, its to help people get the facts (there is that tricky word again) to allow them to make an informed decision regarding any investment. If the facts don't support an investment, thats not something I've caused, is it?

I have been here for over 6 months providing proof when needed etc. Please Don't give us your rubbish about a health discussion.

Open discussion is key. You've shown you've made money, and I'm very happy for you. I've also, previously, asked for updates and shown interest in them. What I have found in these discussion is a number of red flags. You choose to ignore them. Thats your choice.

If you think 'healthy discussion' of this scheme is rubbish, then guess what, that would be another red flag.

Anyone else who wants to ask any questions please feel more than welcome. I think many people will agree that Reverend has had his time. :)

I'm glad you are sticking up for the 'many people'....such a brave person.

Like another post you are hurting for some reason and it is great to see.

That certainly is the weirdest thing you've said/typed. How strange you are.

No problem, not FCA.

So if it all goes belly up, everyone loses all their money?

Ouch.

I wonder if all the talk of this being 'regulated' on this thread, but the regulation being from the mighty nation of Gallifrey, how many people know what 'regulation' they are actually getting and what recourse is there?

We've got examples of this thread where people have been mislead to believe it is FCA regulated (the Daily Mirror article) and I wonder if talk of 'regulation' on this scheme but not being open on WHERE it is regulated, could be seen as openly misdirecting people.

It would be really interesting to know how many people assumed regulation meant FCA regulation.

As always, it is great to hear about people making lots of money. Long may it continue and I really hope no-one loses anything on this scheme.

:)

Thanks,

The Reverend

ICM markets are regulated but not by the FCA.

They regulated by the following :

IC Markets has 3 entities which are regulated by 3 regulatory authorities: IC Markets AU (ACN 123 289 109) (trading as IC Markets) holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL No. 335692) to carry on a financial services business in Australia, limited to the financial services covered by its AFSL. IC Markets (EU ) - regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under the CIF Licence No 362/18. "IC Markets SC" - regulated by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles with a Securities Dealer Licence number: SD018 You can find our entities overview information on the following link: https://www.icmarkets.com/au/en/company/entities

@The Reverend when you say belly up, do you mean lose trades? or the company going missing

Company goes bust.

But I would say the FCA highlights these 3 functions they deliver (based on thier website)

  • to protect and enhance the integrity of the UK financial system;
  • to ensure an appropriate degree of protection for consumers and
  • to promote effective competition in the interest of consumers.

We know that this scheme isn't covered by 1 but also this scheme hasn't done 2 (the mysterious 'rogue trade' that couldn't happen, shouldn't happen, but some how actually did).
Point 3 no-one really cares about.

:D

So I took the plunge and invested. I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert on Forex or any other investments but I'll let you know how I get on.

Seems like you've joined at a good time. Whatever has happened with them recently they've up'd their communication game massively, everyone now has an account manager for questions and billing rather than just asking in chat and hoping for a reply.

They have also sponsored a BTCC Ginetta team so putting their cock on the block by advertising themselves out there on the TV. Which in my eyes is showing me they are starting to get really serious and aren't just another Instagram scam.

Yeah, I must admit, while I liked the idea of using Telegram and chatting with other investors, it's better to have a dedicated point of contact too. He's introduced himself via email and given me his Telegram handle so I can instant message him, plus a telephone number too.

I've been added into the Telegram investors group as well and the guys running it seem quite active in there and regularly give updates on trades.

Early days but I'm happy with the initial signs.

Sorry if I've misled anyone but the investor's group is just the admin's of the company, not other members. I didn't look properly. Sorry folks!

Just over a week on and I'm up £46.94, on the 3k investment. I've also been added to the group chat and the majority seem friendly enough. Prophet FX employees are in there too and answer questions.

I can't think of much else that I can add other than so far, so good.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to give me a shout :)

at that rate (1.55% /week), your investment should roughly double in a year excluding fees. That's good compared to most other interest rates being offered but obviously comes with the higher risk level that's already been highlighted throughout this thread.

And I guess that's what it boils down to for a lot of investors; high return but high risk. It took me a good few months before I felt comfortable with the risk and now that trades have closed and I can see a return on the investment, it makes me feel that much more confident. Hopefully, there won't be any problems when it's time to make a withdrawal!
