Does anyone else find the Valued Opinions website a bit "buggy"?

For example, my earnings don't tally between the figure on the homepage/dashboard & my rewards statement (the homepage figure is higher). There's nothing listed under pending rewards, so that's not the reason. I also find the website hangs or loads up to an error page when I click through from an email, but will often load correctly on the 3rd or even 4th go.

Also, I find it a bit of a hassle that some surveys don't show on your total or in your pending total when you've completed them. When I emailed they advised it can take up to 6 weeks for rewards to be credited, so I'm having to keep a list of missing rewards & dates to chase which is a bit of a pain. Can I just take it as read that this will be added eventually?

Apart from all those moans(!), I really like the site. The surveys are generally quick & easy, & there are plenty of them. I've earned over a fiver (or £4.25 depending which total is right!) since the start of Feb, so no complaints there. I just wondered if my issues are par for the course.

I find it ok. Haven't noticed any problems.
I use Firefox and the surveys seem to load fine.
It is a good one for earning gift cards. Paid for a new microwave, a George foreman grill, bedside lamps just to name a few.
I find there is a nice steady stream of surveys. :)

I've just ditched Opinion World. They offered me a charity survey + 50 points for being a valued member or something. So I spent about 3 minutes filling in what I thought was the survey, for it to tell me "congratulations you've qualified for the survey". So I clicked "yes" to start the survey and it said "sorry, we've received the required amount of feedback".

So that's the last time I'll be using that. No time for time wasters

OnePoll is my favourite, it's quick and easy. GlobalTestMarket surveys take longer to complete but there seems to be plenty available. I've had a few through on YouGov, I can tell that's going to be slow.

Right, I've just had a good dig around the site & found my "Participation History" (hidden under the More menu option) & it looks like everything is listed here. The balance tallies with my homepage & the 2 surveys I haven't been credited for appear under there as "pending". Why they can't list all this under the Rewards Statement section I don't know, but it settles the most important issues at least. I can put up with needing 2 or 3 attempts to load the page.

I like the gift card angle too. It's the only site I do where I won't get the rewards as cash, but it'll be a nice change to put it towards something I need (or maybe even something I don't!). Sounds like you're furnishing your house on the back of it, Blackpepper. ;D

True it isn't the most easiest of sites to navigate round.
It is a nice way to earn some gift cards to buy things I need and it saves me having to use cash.
I have done well out of Valued Opinions so far when I look and see what it has paid for. :)

The one I have stuck with consistently is Valued Opinions. I get offers from them most days, and although I don't qualify for them all they have a steady stream of work. They sometimes have longer projects asking you to text a number every time you see a certain brand which pay quite well and last week I was asked to complete an insurance comparison project which paid £20! It said it would take an hour to complete the task but it was more like 25 minutes. Once that's paid out I'll be converting it to John Lewis vouchers and treating myself!!

Yeah, Valued Opinions is good. I've been doing those text ones as well, easy enough to complete.

This may seem like a very stupid question, but I'm trying to withdraw money from Crowdology at the moment. It says "To complete the transaction you need to approve it in your PayPal account within 30 days". How do I do that? I can't see anywhere in Paypal where I would do that. With Swagbucks they usually send me a verification email, but I don't appear to have received anything like that from Crowdology. Am I doing something wrong/missing something really obvious? Googling suggests that Crowdology are a bit rubbish at paying out - the withdrawal amount is showing as having been withdrawn (except obviously not) three times, but it's never actually been withdrawn because I can't verify it. Aaarggghhhh

From what i remember when it arrives you just accept the payment. But that was a long time ago that i cashed out there. Not far off now i'm back on it.

I just footered about with it for a bit and it seems to have sent it now. Phew! Don't quite know how I managed it. Hopefully it'll go smoother the next time!

anyone used yourword.com ? ive signed up and done quite a few with £3 in the pot this week, what i don't like is that you don't know how long the survey is going to go on for, like an insurance ad one this week was soooo long and boring it seemed to go on for over an hour, it paid like £2.30 but when i get to payout at £5 i think i will bail out of it, saying that i haven't had one for a few days now

im on yougov and onepoll and mucked up the valued opinions one by using my dogs facebook page as registering then realised it has an email i dont use anymore so tried to change email, couldn't change all details then unregistered and now new registration has been rejected so ive emailed them to see if they can sort the mess out ive made :-\

I had that so have others. After a few days it goes back to normal so you can get paid. :)

I second what BP1 has said. I've cashed out over 20 times now and every single time the same problem. It doesn't take long to go back to normal :)

I've only used Swagbucks and Toluna for surveys so far (I think) so I'll give some of these a go.

Wow! That is incredible customer service from OnePoll ! I emailed them to make sure there were no problems with my account and had a reply in minutes. They apologised for the lack of surveys while they did checks to make sure I was human and gave me the last 5p so I could cashout ! It may only be 5p but I am really impressed and will be praising them to anyone who will listen for sorting it for me ! ;D

That is good so it is a way for them to do their own check on the Account.
I also queried something when I tried to cashout via PayPal and there was an error and they also got back to me really quickly.
Good when the support is there when you need it.
OnePoll is definitely worth sticking with. :)

If anyone was thinking of signing up to yougov they have doubled their referral pay out to 400 points (£4). I'm £5 away from cashing out if anyone wants to use my referral link.

https://yougov.co.uk/refer/3J-0bf8XU4W4IvIb4uznSg/?sourceid=229470

It normally takes me between 6 months to a year to cash out with yougov but they are the site I've stuck with for years even when I have up on all the others. They might be a bit boring but they are reliable.

I agree YouGov is one of the best ones.
Interesting surveys and different to other sites
Just received my £40 payment from OnePoll which is another good one to earn from. :)

I joined one poll but am finding it slow going. I finally cashed out with valued opinions but was finding them pretty annoying. Their surveys seem very long and I was getting timed out a lot. Am not sure if I want to stick with them.
It really is trial and error with the survey sites. My main problem is when I start with a site and find its not for me I have to stick with it until cash out and some of them have very high cash out limits.
