I joined BetStars at the end of June and the card I used to deposit was due to expire at the end of July. This is fine for any transaction I have ever done anywhere with my cards. Little did I know that with BetStars you cannot withdraw to a card that expires in the same month, even though it is still valid. This was not clear in their terms & conditions.
After many emails with their customer services (their answers were never straightforward), they eventually said that I just needed to add another card, block the old one and then I can withdraw after 48 hours.
More than 48 hours later and I still can't withdraw. Now they tell me "To maintain the high level of integrity associated with our products, and to adhere to our licence regulations, players are unable to withdraw or transfer funds from deposits, without first wagering these at least once". Did I not wager money to get the free bet in the first place?
If I place a bet with them and match it on one of the exchanges, will this satisfy their requirements? It is only £10 but it is the principle of it that bothers me. I am happy to play by their rules but they should have told me properly when I asked, not make me feel as though I have to drag it out of them.
Sorry for the rant.
