I'm not sure I should comment here or not, I am either the most unluckiest gambler or the most stupid :-\

I have made some money from gambling online with horses in the past, but that was following a system that I purchased where by I bet on the favourite in every race at one meeting until it won!

Sounds pretty crazy dosn't it but believe it or not it paid off 9/10 times.

However I needed to stop as I found I started betting on more and more donkeys and felt it was becoming an issue.

So be careful, have fun of coarse but be aware of what your doing and if you feel yourself straying STOP.

I have seen SO many of these "sure fire" betting packages for sale on the Internet and trust me, they do not want cheap bets to prove they work that's what worries me

If you end chasing losses you may become desperate and buy these ebooks etc to find a way to get the wins to appear

I guess that is what they are hoping

Good information or bad information - it all seems to have a price on the Internet

Well yes Simon this was the issue.
Apparently in one meeting the odds are good that 1 fav will win.

So it went like this, you set your daily target so lets say I want to make £100

1st race the fav is 2/1 so I need to bet £50 on that horse to reach my daily target, if it wins.. happy days im finished for the day but if not its on to race 2

2nd race the fav is evens i now need to win my £100 daily profit plus the £50 i lost on the first race so there for i need to bet £100 on this race

And so it went on until the fav actually won.

And as i said it does work 9/10 times but it gets a little scary if the fav dosnt win for a while !

Well Jon as I said its very very dangerous, and not something I would try again.

A wise man once said to me that " The biggest gamble whilst gambling is when to stop gambling! " make of that what you will but it certainly rang true for me !

this is very similar system to betting on red or black and keep doubling your stake until you get in front. not a good idea if you ask me you done well to win at all let alone 9 from 10.

Yes i'm definitely glad i'm out of it all now, or I may have been one of those betting on flys climbing the windows.

I can see why people get into trouble with it though, one big win and your hooked

Anyway now I play skittles up my local pub so im saved

Guineas Festival here in Newmarket and the town is buzzing

Anybody having a punt? Apparently the line-up for the 2000 Guineas today is top notch with a real depth of quality. As usual I won't be placing a bet myself, but Toormore caught my eye last time out with his length of stride. I'd like to see Roger Varian's Kingston Hill do well too.

Too dry for Kingman I think - we've had very little rain here.

well look how that worked out.

I have luckily avoided betting the past 3 days but the results this weekend have only went to show you that anything's possible in football. Liverpool, Chelsea, Athletico, Real.... all massive favourites chasing a title and potentially blew it.

Making great watching as a neutral, but horrible for a gambler!

You should get the ones where you gave to play £3 in the machines, I just play roulette and bet it all on red of black, win £6 or not, meh lol

I need to look at World Cup bets this week, had a mate last WC who had a £10 bet on top goal scorer a some very high odds, William Hill offered him £280 odd to cash out his £10 bet.
