I am a great fan of matched betting! I don't understand why there are so many people not doing it!

Another great way to make money by exploiting the bookies is by using tipsters. Tipsters basically send out their expert selections and you place the bets. The key is finding top quality tipsters and running them alongside a solid staking plan.

I have been doing it full time for several years now and have decided to start helping some people online. Therefore, I though I would start a new post and answer any questions people might have on the topic. I also run a website Racinghints.com where there is a free guide, (there is nothing for sale on my site!)

The great thing is, if you want to use it as a part time earner, you can do it via your mobile phone and it takes less than 5 minutes.

My first question, which is a basic one...

this isn't risk free like matched betting, is it?

This is not risk free. In reality, it is gambling. It does however pay a lot better than matched betting. Unfortunately, low risk low reward. The trick is finding decent reliable tipsters.

If you have a look at the picture attached to this post you can see that if you started using this particular service in November 2013 and bet £1 on every single selection that was sent, you would have accumulated £400. On the basis you would probably be staking at least £15 that now equates to £6,000. This is over 25 months, so £240 per month (based on £15 stakes.) You do need to take into consideration the subscription fee, which for this service is £50 per month, therefore £190.

Note how consistent the upward trend is on the bets

If you can find 5 good tipsters which run at a similar rate that is £950 per month and that's based on £15 stakes. And it takes about 10 minutes a day to place and log the bets.

Hope this helps

Low risk, low reward is definitely NOT true of matched betting.

Also, £180 a month, for risking month, is crap compared to the £500+ lots of people are making here monthly with matched betting, which is risk free.

Also, Profit Accumulator is nowhere near £50 a month either.

Seems like you're trying to sell it as being better than matched betting when it really doesn't compare, as you ARE risking money, whereas you are not with matched betting.

Yup, have to agree with Katy and Jon here...I'm not even doing Matched Betting to it's full potential and I'm earning a lot more than £200 a month and I'm not risking anything.

I thought "It does however pay a lot better than matched betting." sounded a little off when I looked at your charts.

low risk low pay??????????????? Um....

I've made £5.5k from matched betting (not including December) since July.

I'm open to a lot of things and I'll still go have a poke around, but you shouldn't sell it as "better" than matched betting. You'll just piss us off.

The beauty about using racing tipsters is it is limitless. As your income grows you stakes get bigger to. The example shows stakes based on £15 per bet. At RacingHints we are now placing our bets via betfairs betting exchange at stakes of £150+ We therefore wont get removed for doing well because you are placing bets against people not bookies (we have taken time to build up to this point.)

Using those figures in the below example we are now looking at closer to £9,000 per month. Naturally it takes a while to get to this point but by only using tipsters with a consistent upward trend, your stakes will grow quicker and quicker.

yeah I think you may find a better response posting this sort of thing on a 'stay at home mums' group on Facebook or something

ideally attach a picture of a beach with some kind of inspirational quote over it...

So if I read one of your posts correct...for 25 months I could make £240 a month which equates to £6000 but take off £50 a month (£1,250 total) for the service so £4,750 over 25 months AT A RISK!

Over 25 months, matched betting casually bringing in £400 a month I can hit £10,000...minus the PA fee of £450 giving me £9,550 RISK FREE!!!

Sorry, but "you could be earning £9,000 a month EVENTUALLY" isn't convincing enough to risk losing money.

Tipsters and professional gamblers can have really bad runs where their entire bank can become wiped out. Just because the statistics show the history to be one way, it has no influence whatsoever on how it will go from there. Anyone looking to do something like gambling for a living needs to be more clued up that being spoon fed from this site.

Matched betting is risk free, however saying 'I don't know why there aren't more people doing it' can make it sound like there are no downsides whatsoever. I think to make money from it you have to have a personality that is very disciplined and not a risk taker at all, not in a bad head space, not feeling reckless, and so on. Many people with money problems can be in that reckless and desperate headspace and matched betting, for some even though it is on paper 'risk free', can be a really bad idea.

You wouldn't advise a person feeling low/desperate/prone to drinking too much, to hang around in a pub all day but 'just have soft drinks'.

I just don't get it at all. I can make money from Matched Betting with no risk and people here are making thousands a month from that.

So you're trying to say that you keep growing the money and betting bigger and bigger...

So you'd bet £1,000 on a tip because you've made that free? Hardly low risk!
