BLOGGING TO MAKE MONEY
Step 1 - The first thing you want to do if you don't already have one, is to open a free Blogger account. The next thing is to open a free Gmail account if you don't have one, as this will enable you to use the free Google keyword planner tool without entering captcha codes.
Step 2 - Write a blog article (300+) words about something you're keen on. If you don't already have an account then, apply for an Amazon UK and US affiliate account and submit your blog URL as proof. You can also join other free programs like Commission Junction, Clickbank, Clicksure.....
Step 3 - Before you promote any product, do the necessary keyword reseach and make sure your affiliate item has low competition or even limited data using the free Google keyword tool. The key is not to be greedy and chase products which have medium or high competition, as the chances of arriving on page one of Google are very slim.
Step 4 - Make sure your layout looks appealing and easy on the eye. I find a tile or wood picture looks good as a background image and you can easily find them from a Google search and download them to your computer. Another thing which you can do to make your blog more attractive is by using a header. There's a free site called XHeader which gives you 500 free headers and banners and I use this site for all my blogs and sites.
Step 5 - Once you've found a product that's good to go and has low competition, it's time to get writing (300+) and include your affiliate link in the product picture and contextual link at the bottom of the blog article.
Step 6 - After you publish your blog article copy and paste the URL address and use a free pinging service like Pingfarm enabling the Google and the main search engines to find your blog quickly.
Your Done
It's important to find a path which suits your own style and once it brings in those much wanted affiliate commissions just rinse and repeat the process.
Tip : When you start a free product blog and writing additional posts, put a cap of around 8 or 9 posts and start a fresh blog with another email address. The reason for this is that, if your free blog gets banned (and it happens) then, you'll have others to fall back on and won't have all your blog articles in one basket.
All the Best
