I know we are a little passed Boxing Day but the New Year's sales are in full swing, what bargains have you grabbed?

Boxing Day we bought an Nvidia Shield android box thing, cost £129.99 with a remote included (should have been £35)...apparently it should have cost above £200 (so the husband tells me).

I've just bought myself a "motivational dress" from Lindy Bop for £9.99 (should have been £34.99) and a top for £8.99 (should have been £14,99) with £1.34 cashback on top.

By STINKS we will assume you mean smells amazing Jon :D

I got some bits from Lush and also some baby sleeping bags down from £20 to £5 on the Boots website. Then we ordered our cot, mattress and accessories (mostly in the sale - lots of bargains) and going to be getting the pram ordered in the next week or two while it is on offer :D

Nothing for me yet although I really should be on the look out for a new bed frame as we've been sleeping on the mattress on the floor since we moved...

My bridesmaid dress which I've picked for my sisters wedding is very Lindy Bop [member=871]Twiggy[/member] and I wasn't a dress person until I chose a vintage theme for my friend's hen night.

Same friend altered me to the sale and she bought 5 dresses herself (including the same one as me) for £50 - bargain.

£20 pair of trainers for £5 today WOOP! Now I can be seen in more than just boots haha I'm not your typical female as I only own 3 pairs of boots (2 pairs need binning), a pair of running trainers (if I ever decide to go running), a pair of crocs (great to just pop out to the bin in) and now a pair of trainers. So they were needed.

I own maybe 40 pairs of trainers [member=277]Chammy[/member] - and that's after a significant cut back :p The worst thing is that these days I just wear one pair of boots and one pair of trainers LOL.

I'm not a girlie girl when it comes to shoes/clothes so it is mostly trainers, wellies and timberlands for me. I only really wears Nikes too (not really because I'm brand bothered but because they suit my feet well), but at least when I have a cull they make a nice bit of cash!

What did you get?

It was just a bog standard pair from Winsors, nothing special - I just needed some. I also go through them like nobodies business so the cheaper the better.

I have about 3 pairs of footwear and 1 coat

Yep.... I used to have a LOT more pairs of shoes... Kurt Geiger etc, but just realised I was barely using them and it was taking up almost a whole cupboard. Most of my Nikes come from the factory outlet in Freeport. It's not unusual to find pairs there down from £80-£110 to about £20-30. I haven't bought any in the last year though! I'm not bothered about them being fashionable etc, but Nikes are great for my feet.

I own one coat and I only got that recently... My last one I bought it and the next day a goat ate the fecking pocket off it at the zoo. And I bought special food for the sod - was not impressed. HAHA. I HATE clothes shopping so I guess that is why I like trainers :) I'm not really a handbag person either, I just use the same Radley that my Mum got me day in and day out.

For the first time in my life I've actually bought nothing in the sales, I'm amazed at myself. I've put a few things in my virtual shopping bag then changed my mind  I'm not sure who I am anymore!
