Hello,
I just signed up today after stumbling across the site when researching work at home ideas, so I thought I would do a little post to say hi and introduce myself
I'm wanting to save some money for driving lessons/ car/ million pounds worth of insurance etc. etc. because at the grand age of 29 I still don't have my license (Either have time but no money, or money but no time, and currently no money and no time!! but just finally fed up)
I have 2 lovely children, 3 & 2, and husband works full time with funny hours, so taking on much work outside the house is not a really a possibility as his schedule can be different from one week to the next. I work 20hrs a week, and am responsible for paying for groceries, putting money aside for holidays, kids activities, kids clothes etc. etc. Plus am trying to pay off stupid student overdraft, which we ended up using again after I had my 2nd, and didn't go back to work until he was 11 months.
I think what that was me trying to say "Money from the day job is tight"
So am looking at some other ways to bring in a bit of income to fund the driving/car/etc. Possibly also a professional course, but that's secondary.
I thought I was onto a good thing with Lionbridge, but just got told I failed their exam Kind of rubbish but not unexpected as I have been totally wiped out with flu, so could hardly sit let alone read! So moving on...
Anyhow that's me, hope that's alright for a little intro! Looking forward to reading what everyone else is upto.
